This piece, I just finished it. I see two different beings who are standing back to back with the landscapes within each of them unique and enchanting. They are complementary figures. The smaller (perhaps younger) head on the right has more of horizontal landscape inside. The one on the left (the elder) has vertical lines of energy, suggesting that the inner landscape is even more inward and downward facing/within. One could even suggest that this figure is facing the past (left) and the figure on the right is facing the future, the East—what is new on the horizon. They both share a central golden beam. It supports them. The swirls guide the eyes off of the image and into the beyond, so the movement just flows. Green provides this on-going, penetrating fertility.
As we move closer to the Full Moon in Virgo, with a very strong Piscean chart (Sun, Saturn, Mercury, Neptune) all in Pisces opposes the Full Moon in Virgo.
The 3 planets (Stellium) in Aquarius are Pluto, Mars/Venus are squaring Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus.
That’s where the chart might demonstrate some need to actively balance the energies. However upon closer inspection there are natural harmonies with the trine aspects of the Pisces Sun/Saturn to the Taurusian placed planets of Jupiter and Uranus which are also in loose trine aspect to the Virgo Moon.
There is opportunity for the values and needs to be balanced spiritually through the habits and rituals of the Virgo moon. That is, this —and arguably all Virgo Full Moons—offer more awareness of health and service as it relates to the Spiritual goals, bonded with the material goals. It is time to unify and make more ‘realized’ the material relationship we have with spirituality. It’s simply not just ethereal, elusive Piscean experiences. How we engage with the real world, the Earth signs, greatly influences what we manifest. Use your solar discipline to ground with your ideals so you are living as a demonstration of your highest values and not the ones imposed on you by the pressures of the culture and society. Make your dreams real by developing rituals and habits which demonstrate with regularity your spiritual commitment.
Finally, this North Node transit with Chiron in Aries (Ruler of 1st house of identity), gives us a bit of meditation, for the willing, on how self-identity has been both wounded/healed.
My family has been and will be adding more meditation to our daily routine as a shared activity. How will you intentionally share your dreams/Spirituality (Pisces) with your community (Aquarius), in a practiced way (Taurus) with service/dedication (Virgo)?
I’ve been working on my second poetry book and so far this is what I’ve discovered:
The poems that I’ve written are direct resources to resolving challenges of perspective.
The energy in the poems are informing me (and others) about unique gifts.
It’s gonna take me a bit longer to publish this book because there’s a lot more work to sort through, process, and; because, my work matters more to myself than it previously did. [i thought that I was only going to write one poetry book ever and then never again]. I didn’t think I had more to give. Alas! 7 years ago was a beginning.
I feel like the ‘me’ that I am is showing up more in the heart reflections and observations I share.
Since it’s on the list of many more projects and also a lower priority (priority is continued studies and services for others), it’s gonna take a bit longer to complete. But I will do little by little-just like I did with my finger painting above. 👆
That real rainbow (from after our heavy rains on and off) was even more vibrant against a backdrop of heavy gray. Sometimes light just conveys better more unconventionally, organically—without all the extra bells and whistles of editing.
I believe our art ought to create and open worlds, help us ask and answer questions, reveal new avenues for exploration, help heal what’s unresolved transpersonally.
May you enjoy your day however you like!
Thanks for reading, viewing, and being part of things here. We are all moving together. Enjoy your own style and dance steps! Christopher Walken inspires me here to a “move my body Monday.”
** I saw Christopher Walken in a superbowl commercial last night. We happened to have the superbowl available to watch for free, and I used to watch the Steelers all the time when I lived in Pittsburgh. It was so cool to be part of the collective consciousness of that town, btw. Anyways, that choice was great. It was the BEST Super Bowl game I saw in a very long time (and I hadn’t watched any for a long time so that’s not saying much—but my sisters’ family watches football 24/7 and they agreed). It was so FUN, edge of seat fun. 🤩 The team we were rooting for lost, but it was a stellar game: to be talked about for years to come. Lots of unique moments: fumbles, kicks blocked, amazing yardage for kicks, and on and on like the Overtime, “Second game.” It was history-making (just like our weather!).
Bet you didn’t think Art and Football (and poetry) mixes well together! lol 😝 Have a fun day. I seriously needed the light-heartedness. I hope you can enjoy it to, with me. Thanks for being here!
Mars is on the verge of Cojoining Pluto in Aquarius, ♒️ waking us up to our primal masculine awareness. How can the divine masculine show us the way forward at this time?
With the recent New Moon we ushered in the Lunar New Year tradition of the next animal to be our inspiration for the year. This year as most of my readers already know is the year of the Wood Yang Dragon. As i work with Traditional East Asian medicine and acupuncture, I am very keen on how to balance the wood element. You can use these acupuncture points to help regulate some of the extra ‘angst’ and tension that comes with the surging forth of life (or the life that tries to push through the blockages and stagnancies created from non-movement). I wish it were as simple as just doing just these two points, but people are complex and it takes time to do a full assessment and intake. For now, may this be helpful and serve you in your year with the Yang Wood Dragon. Sending you all the blessings for an auspicious New Year.
The New Moon is coming round! But most of my readers already know this. You might not know that it’s pretty much exactly conjunct (at the same point as) my Natal S. Node in my FIRST house of Self Presentation. Haha. Those are just “key words.” Words are little containers of meaning, but they can also get packed in with energy. So the words I’m about to share are my declaration of “in honor.” I will capitalize on my skills from the PAST (S.Node) and how Aquarius features so strongly in our current world: Pluto into Aquarius on Jan 20, then conjoining transiting Mercury, next up is Venus and then Mars. My past skills are needed here. Also, Here’s why I express myself today, for tomorrow and for always:
In honor of my love of chaos, crazy KALI.
I embrace you dark goddess of unpredictability
you turn on a dime, with your full fury or peaceful
enlightment in quiet poise.
and it makes no difference. Who is there really to judge your presence?
For no one really exists.
I honor you brokenness, your hardship, and loss,
and all your irreducible enigmas
that riddle us with great cost.
I honor your presence, your beastly appearance,
I honor your faceless, nameless, force of nature– open tongue agape
I honor you as you ARE: unbridled, rare, unique and unexpected.
SHAMELESS
I honor your wild vapor of ethereal twirling edges folding pages, closing books..
Thank you for your brilliantly misunderstood energies.
Thank you for your grace and enlightment in unseen ways.
I honor what I do not understand, cannot understand, and will never summon to reach…
Thank you, for being Untouchable, unknowable, and a pure deep, dark velvety mystery.
It’s time for me to go meet with my client soon. Thank you for reading, your presence, and your enjoyment of all the things under the sun, including those shadows where the sun doesn’t shine. We want more peace, harmony and light. We have to see things as they truly are. Being in the dark is the way of this life. We are born from the dark, blasting into the light, and then we leave in the dark–with mystery abounding. The dark is our central root, our harpsichord of suffering. To embrace this suffering, with full acknowledgement is the way to inner peace.
A flat page before me, is not flat. Sometimes I wonder if water runs through more dimensions than the ones we see or science knows about. Water joins worlds in so many ways and certainly changes phases and organizes differently adapting to its container.
Is there anything more marvelous than water? Maybe not.
So we are bucketing out water from our yard today. And we will be doing so, overnight. My life is disrupted but all I can enjoy are these vibrant colors…
My art is my lifeblood. It doesn’t feed me. It doesn’t put food on the table, but it’s the most “me” there is, of substance. Everything else “me” is ethereal and immaterial. I am immersed in you, in everyone. I am a shadow. I am a collection of memories. I am so many things, none of which are substantial. But I aim to be free of the body one day. Until then, I’d like to be happy being in it, moving it freely, enjoying pleasure. That is what my bodied life is here for. So I’m slipping into dimensions that allow me this. I’m opening up my own floodgates to my personal heaven and I’m gonna wash myself in its splendor.
This one had such a layered sensation to it. I don’t think I finished it, but there is the selfsame experience of imperfect symmetry which is something I love because it mirrors our imperfect faces. The imperfections are so lovable to me.
May we find the love within the process of imperfections allowing us to find the perfection through the openings of dimensions in time, creating space, illuminating purpose and aligning ourselves within our highest light of awareness.
