Poem #2 Challenge Day 2

My Body is a poem, a place, a magic

I want to be everywhere

but my space is mostly packed-in

here

San Diego’s blood vessels

San Diego’s bone

maintains my home

with lite neurochemistry

density does appear

sparks within me

ligaments and teeth anchor me

strapping together my earthen loam

calcium channels help me roam

with acetylcholine, fascia

Piezoelectric-nourished dome

my ocean-heart pumps life in aquamarine

I sailed here first with my mind, never seen

almost everywere I dream

becomes true

true-blue, with

Faith.

A magical carpet ride through the fabric

of space

and time

allowing for rhyme

allowing for choice,

This voice

and most of all, more dreams take place:

Here.

Now.

San Diego’s air.
