Hold my hand
as we watch this morning rise
from distant skies.
I’ve known you since these planets were born.
Since we were born.
To touch the sky with our eyes
to feel the connection, and
to know that meetings come and go.
We only have moments here,
but within us, is that eternity, shining.

How beautiful to have eternal sunshine
💕 ✨ Thank you, Hazel
My pleasure, ka. Happy Friday!
They watch us in all we do Ka…with a few guiding rules of course 🤣❤️🙏
⭐️ 🤣🤣🤣 ⭐️
A beautiful, scintillating verse shining from your golden heart. I love the purity in these words. Very heartfelt and warming my heart in a way I can’t describe.. ♥️🤗 another gem from that gentle quill of yours 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you sweet Yassy! Seeing these heavenly bodies in the morning yesterday before sunrise powered my day, and set my pen moving with poetry 💕
You are welcome, Ka .. wow .. that’s some inspiration.. .awesome poetry .. finally get to read something from you. Made my day .. thank you. Keep the ink flowing. 😘
Lovely verse and sentiment Ka.
Thank you, Brad! Wishing you a wonderful day and weekend ahead!
Thanks.😊
You are welcome! 🤗
This is beyond celestial bodies. They seem to me the metaphor for the meeting of hearts in the eternal dream, despite the temporary setbacks of this existence.
Oh, to return to the dream.
I find myself wanting to live in the dream.
Thank you for this line so much, “despite the temporary setbacks of this existence.” That’s right, temporary.
Beautifully penned. Thank you for such an elegant response!
I merely write what I feel…
Received “as is” ! 🙂
And, with gratitude.
Thankyou…!
‘We only have moments here,
but within us, is that eternity, shining.’ I read this today on instagram I absolutely love it! So true. Thank you Ka 💞💞
You read that on instagram? I wrote it. Please let me see what you are saying. Can you send a screen shot? Xoxo
Wow that’s disconcerting if the words I wrote in my poem, are also on instagram somewhere else!
Oh it wasn’t the same poem as yours just someone said we only have moments but eternity lies within. Sorry don’t know where I saw it, I was just scrolling. But it’s a beautiful poem Ka. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Thank you! Thats a relief! 🥲 Honestly, that happened to me once before. I had a blog subscriber take my words and post it on their Facebook wall and didn’t put quotes nor attribute it to me at all. It was a miracle I caught it. Of course I forgave them and appreciated that they found ‘value’ in my words, enough to share them forward.
It’s a similar theme: The eternity! It’s timeless, right? But my own sensation and energy for writing it came from a unique place that made it “home” for me. 💗 Thanks for clarifying!! I thought it was word for word you read it, since you re-quoted my words in your comment. Yes the theme itself isn’t unique at all. 💗 That is why it Is ‘US,’ our shared nature, our shared experience is always relatable! Blessings to you, Karen! Hugs, too! Thank you for the kind compliment and for connecting those dots with your full experience. I know your deep wisdom.
It is hard to have that happen. I know your words are shared from your heart Ka and they are received in love. Blessings to you. 💞💞💞
Your words read like a balm and salve for me. Thank you for your tenderness and care! Thank you for receiving — that is one of the greatest gifts to be able to give to another! Sending so many blessings back. 💕💕💕 May you always feel so received from your heart, too.
💞💞💞
Karen, I added a copyright symbol. I usually don’t. Maybe I need to keep doing that going forward. I used to, but fell off from it. The writing and the photograph are straight from me. I didn’t read anything that even influenced me to write it, and the picture is taken, by me, specifically from my own device.
Having written books and poems too, I guess in the end we can’t control or stop others from sharing or using them anywhere, but we can always trust our work and our words were shared from our hearts. 💞💞
You make a great point about trust. I am anchored into it now. Knowing we can trust what comes from our hearts is really the whole of it all. Grateful for your wisdom and comfort, Karen! Hugs 🤗
Beautiful poem. Thank you for the encouragement to see eternity in the moments.
Thank you, JoAnna 💗⭐️♾️
Ka, this feels so serene and timeless to me. I love the way you hold the fleeting moment and eternity together in your words. 🌙✨
Much love,
David
