She’s 6 and her form explorations are underway. The heart is the most anterior (anatomy language here guys, that’s my “home language.”) part of her vibrant artistic piece.
You can say “it stands out.”
I feel like the background hearts are connected to circuitry. I see an eye-ball/beach ball with the excitement of forms (circle, square, triangle!) and the inspiration of color delights the eyes for all of us. Her art has all the machinery of a developing, growing, and vibrant mind. She explored moving “off the page.” She’s an explorer.
Proud mama.
I thought this would make a wonderful Autumnal Equinox— “Welcoming the Sun into Libra ♎️ Celebration of Art – Post!”
🎨🍂🍂🍁
We have a prolific maker here.
🍁
May your season be filled with coziness and beauty! If we get to enjoy the balance of the moment, let’s celebrate it.
💗
To my mind there is an (almost?) unconscious delving into cosmic symbolism here. She’s picked up a few things from her mama along the way, perhaps. Or knew them already. There is more than one gift hiding in that art.
Awh! 💗
You’ve rendered me speechless! 😶 Thank you!
Rendered you speechless?
I will consider that one of my greatest achievements…
🤣
Haha, 🤣 see if it happens again.
You do know that your words have impact. Carry on… 😌
Thanks!
All words have impact, for good or ill. Some more than others. But I won’t push my luck by trying to despeechify you!!!
Hmm. I quite like that term, “despeechify”. “Art thou despeechified, Ma’am?” 😆
Indeedio 🙂
It’s a wonderful experience (shh…. I didn’t say that.) what about neutral words tho?
Clap! 👏 sounds!?
Your next poem?
I’m not sure that “neutral words” exist.
Sounds can speak more fiercely than words. Listen to the onshore wind…
My next poem? Wait and see.
I think there are neutral words. That’s my opinion. 😌
Meaning that it’s based on the reader having a neutral response.
Sounds can be softer, too 🙂
Oh I’m waiting… and I’m gonna see when I see…
Yes, sounds can be softer. And, what can seem soft, can carry a hidden passion – and vice versa. This is very subjective.
As is the idea you put forward of “neutral words”. It seems to me that neutrality, then, is in the ear of the hearer (or eye of the reader). Is there an objective neutrality? This would be unprovable. Only one person need have an emotive reaction to the words to disprove their objective, general neutrality – but one has to find that person. “Great is the force of the negative instance”.
I hope never to produce a neutral poem – at, least, not in everyone’s eye.
All I need is my subjective neutral response to prove my own experience that neutral words can exist in a subject/object relationship. I don’t need to prove for others’ experiences because that’s not my claim.
You couldn’t produce a neutral poem (but that’s not a solid claim). I think you could if that’s your goal.
Thanks for sharing your daughter’s fun art Ka.
My pleasure! Her expressions reach me in a way beyond the parent-kiddo dynamic. What a gift to have her by my side!!!
Thanks for appreciating her work!! 💗
😊
Lovely, Ka. I too am seeing some cosmic, planetary imagery here. I also love the spectrum of colors. 💕
Oh, wonderful! Thanks for sharing that! 🙂
🙂
She takes after you , sweetheart.. it’s all you and beautifully synched with your beautiful spirit and soul .. you taught her all these amazing nuances that seem to spill into the universe of creativity that she portrays for us to see and experience.. bless your little one. Sending you both so many hugs 🤗 and so much love ❤️
My daughter is so fortunate and it rips my soul to know that not every child gets this attention and care.
I want to do everything in my power to empower her to be supportive of others and to be a good citizen of the world. 🌎 I want us all to flourish so we can build the Earth and inhabitants who feels loved and knows it by our actions. The environment, creatures, all big and small— we are meant to care for all, and be kind stewards.
Thank you for all your kind words.
💗💗💗
Such a beautiful thought. A beautiful and generous giving heart you have that you have inculcated these honourable values in your child. She is richly blessed because she has you to care for her heart and values. Love you both and I pray she thrives on your dreams. ♥️
I had no idea when I posted this how touched I would be, an emotional response of warmth and so much loving attention in the way I am receiving the feedback. I am so grateful. Your words, my dear, and your prayers… give me **added hope**that I feed and fuel my existing dreams!
You are precious, Yaskhan! Stay blessed yourself! 💗 Wise and generous!
♥️🤗♥️♥️♥️♥️
Are you not, then, proving that neutral responses exist, rather than neutral words?
I might produce a poem calculated to have no emotional impact – but if someone likes or dislikes the result, have I not failed?
I think we are, again, saying the same thing in different terms, though.
Oops – that was meant to reply to your last response to me, not the OP.
I’ll take a look later tonight (maybe!). It happens to all of us! No worries 😌
I think we are saying a similar enough things. I think words are inherently neutral because if we say that neutral responses exist (and I think they do) then the measure of an impact of the word is on the humans reading and writing them, not on the words themselves. A poem you write can have emotional impact for yourself and no one else. It can also have no impact for yourself but only on others. It can also be other permutations and be both an equal or different impact on both and on neither (self and others.).
Interesting distinction, which tickles my conceptual and philosophical side…
Let’s rewind a step or two.
Words, neither read nor heard, are neutral. Whether thy should be regarded even as words is another issue.
The words themselves (not just the letters on the page) are symbols, representing ideas.
I use “idea” in a broad sense to include emotion.
Once spoken or written, the words necessarily express something from the author to any reader. Emotions, concepts, connections…
That something has meaning to the author. If emotionally neutral, that seems to equate to indifference.
Is not indifference an emotional state? Arguably so.
If heard or read, the words may convey that or something else. But it requires the intervention of the receiving mind.
Without that, the words are meaningless sound or marks.
Which creates, possibly, an interesting modification in my view.
All words are neutral. Their effect is in what they symbolise, to authoring or receiving mind, not inherent in the vibrations they cause in the air, or stains on a page.
This links to my personal view of symbols (they have only the meaning they are given).
I think… Actually, you may be well advised to tell me to stop thinking, at this rate. 😆
Stop thinking 😂😆 🧠
A lovely rest and pause for some more emptiness to fill with something NEW. 🖼️ Be well, Simon!
🫡
I hereby relinquish thought – for a while! 😁
Maybe some poetry will surface. Enjoy your day, Ka.
💗😆🙂😁🌺
Haha, I love this Ka. She has hearts and all that make it shine around it firmly guiding within already. Be proud dear lady, that light is indeed on her horizon 🤗❤️🙏
Art transcends ((( ❤ ))) !!! Happy Libra Season and May the Force Be in Perfect Balance ~ Always 😀
