The Eucalyptus (Rainbow) Deglupta is my favorite tree.
A rainbow tree has to be literally the coolest thing that exists on the planet. I mean, especially that it’s a eucalyptus!

I’m hoping I didn’t lose the theme to this Nanopoblano 2023, and it all got carried away with me. I think I also just trust that it’s all gonna come together on the 30th, when I put it all together. There will be some reflection, some wisdom–something to glean. I believe you can make something out of nothing. The nothing is the less. There is a less, even when there looks like there’s more. That’s the beauty of the illusions of life. (Yesterday’s post is Dropped.). I am allowing the process to be its own thing. I am at the temple, tenderly, openly, readily allowing…
Thanks for being here! Thanks for reading! Thanks for liking! Thanks for commenting! Thanks for being with me on my *very* busy day. I’ll be around a lot more tomorrow.

Okay some weird things about me.
I just put this image up because my inertia of not doing any artwork — at all — for years, it’s starting to get cracking. There’s a crackling. The push from inside was “make a mark” “start a spark.” So there you have it. An unplanned, unscheduled post (that does not fit with my theme of this month). But line, color and spirit really want to be made time for. It’s something I’ve been grappling with for some time. This is even despite that I read one whole book and am halfway through another! Productivity is my middle name. Haha. Let it flow forth and outward. It’s time to flow. In all the ways… like rays.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for being here.
Let the image activate you!

It’s a good thing that I noticed that this scheduled post i set up last night didn’t get posted right. I had mistakenly scheduled it for the PM. Nope, that wasn’t my preference. Did I drop the ball? LOL This year we are setting a “tone” for future traditions. It’s so much fun. Planning and dreaming together is working in my little mental “cave” of inspiration–we embark on the creativity train. There is some “choo-chooing” output for this Nanopoblano via my HOMAGE to Kauai and also my Homage to the Tao Te Ching, intertwining. Meanwhile, so much else going on behind the scenes. This is probably the best part of “social media;” that is, the real life. Social media backlights the “real life” and like Plato’s shadowy cave, social media only shows “some of it.”
How are you all doing? How is Nanopoblano going? I am visiting your blogs, best I can. I think i’m doing better than previous years, thanks to my partial scheduling strategy. Also trying to schedule ahead our family lives, 2024. There’s really just ONE more week of this NanoPoblano November Challenge! We can DO THIS! I’m gearing up for “December Delights.” I think I’m moreso just having fun with catch phrases and new potential blogging themes that inspire me.
brown breasted singer
melody me
sing me to fruition
sing me to glee
your black head
is a perfect thermostat
to deliver your colorful voice.
i sit on this branch with you
quiet, yet, filled with nature
sitting and feeling
feeling and singing
being in the praise
of this life.
And even, including. the bird. poop.
my good luck!

the many curiosities are in our own backyards, but sometimes we have to travel and return home to find them.

Today would be a good day to make an earth mandala

Or just gaze into the Rudraksha Forest of your mind, and look for enchanted, blue “easter eggs.”

The (Thee)
Gift of a lifetime is to be free, to be free
And the wonder is why, oh why
Why does commitment help us secure our freedom?
It does. Because it grows with re-application. Re-dedication.
Commitment to your deepest value and desire for highest good of all…
And so it is 🪷🪷 and so it may be! 💗
Let nothing stop you from expressing from your deepest most loving grace, and your offering of Selfless Self!

How is our creator involved in our human process of “making something of ourselves” in our lives, and in the lives of others? I said the following to my husband in a conversation:
“
I think for me, the fact that I am on a material planet makes me think that I should have some material goals that actualize before I die. As long as we are alive we want something measurable to become of it. I just think that is human nature. And unless we get real clear about our values and beliefs… and then make plans…Life gets wasted in the loss of memories and unsung songs.” He said, “I think there’s a poem in there.” My goal is to publish another poetry book in 2024. I have other things to consider around the journey of preparing a collection of poems for another book.
What has spawned some of these discussions is something new I’m doing called “Reluctant Shaman,” and this is a 6 week, free course. We ask and answer a series of 30 questions and 5 per week, as a study group. If anyone here is interested in joining our next group iteration (because it might be on zoom) please send me a message in the contact link on my page.
