I hadn’t been to my old neighborhood hangout for a while: Lake Murray. Today I had the opportunity to see my very favorite osprey kind. I felt honored that when I asked for showing some wings, I was indulged. 💗
I’m in ceremony for the next couple of days joining in with two different local and online communities to celebrate the vernal equinox, while I’m also having my own inner celebration and communing opportunities with nature and my core world 🌎☘️🍃

From O’Donohue’s Echoes of Memory
On the day when
the weight deadens
on your shoulders
and you stumble,
may the clay dance
to balance you.
And when your eyes
freeze behind
the grey window
and the ghost of loss
gets in to you,
may a flock of colours,
indigo, red, green,
and azure blue
come to awaken in you
a meadow of delight.
When the canvas frays
in the currach of thought
and a stain of ocean
blackens beneath you,
may there come across the waters
a path of yellow moonlight
to bring you safely home.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
wind work these words
of love around you,
an invisible cloak
to mind your life.

Lovely verse to celebrate nature and the equinox.
Thank you, Brad!! 💚 Vernal Equinox blessings! Tomorrow is the official day!
😊
The osprey is a lovely bird that is a juxtaposition of elegance and skill! Love the opening photo and a chance to read this beautiful poem. ❤
Absolutely what you say! To me the Osprey is one of the most beautiful hawks: I love the stripe on her face, and the shape of her beak and talons! “Osprey’s symbolism and meaning include goal-orientation and having blind faith in your ability to achieve greatness.” We can plant our seeds and have faith that one of them, the most important of all, will take root and bring us forth into our highest vision.
This poem speaks to me in a language I could only dream of writing. It’s blessing is made of clay, real earthy and tangible. John O’Donohue a master of word and prayer 🙏🏼
Thank you, Layla! Blessings your way 💕
Beautiful pictures – and the gift of receiving what you ask for, what a joy! So happy to know of the equinox celebrations and enjoyed the beautiful poem dear friend 🙂
Thanks, Pragalbha! It was a happy moment for me, as all moments in life so fleeting and precious. Again, I adore interacting with birds of all kinds—as with the hummingbird—having a personal interaction was confirmed with their responses to me and my requests, and also our unspoken connection.
Pragalbha, I signed up for your email list as your recent blog post referenced. I am just so happy to see you back here 💗🙏🏼 and always appreciate your depth of expressions.
It is precious and incredible – thatunspoken connection 🙂
Thank you dear friend, for adding your name to my list, I am so blessed to have you here and with me.
Thank you for this beautifully encouraging blessing of a poem! May you be abundantly blessed as well!
