This upcoming New Moon in Sagittarius ♐️ looks kind of nice on paper with 20Deg at Sun/Moon conjunction. It’s in trine aspect, which is generally considered an easy aspect, to the transiting North Node. However it is squaring Neptune in its domicile of Pisces. A square is an angle of challenge, with a more potent flavor.
Mercury is in its retrograde shadow and will be turning retrograde right after this New Moon on the 12th. So there’s a Neptune-y feel to this new moon and Mercury. There’s a chance to reconsider the habitual nature of mind and adapt with reflection and then re-charting course.
Higher and highest ideals mashed and mixed with reality possibly a sandblast with clarity or being spun again into a tornado of confusion. The latter is less likely but possible. The title relates, for me, back to my natal Neptune in Sagittarius which does square my natal Saturn in Virgo and trine my natal Sun in Leo. Neptune is in my 10th house of public/career. It is no wonder that I was called to be and serve spiritually in a capacity that is often free-flowing and idealistic and visionary.
For us all:
It’s a good time to make extra progress shedding addictions and illusions in consciousness. There may be grace and insights on the wing.
The wisdom and insight of spiritual teacher Helen Hamilton points to ways of self-inquiry that speaks directly to the ways she fully awoke. She helps the satsang listener to understand experientially how to practice and embrace the Self through awakening and deepening the habitual attention to the space from where all phenomena comes and goes. I’ve been waiting for a long time to be found by what needs to find me: people, energies, Spirits. How about you? Did you find your calling right away? Each time I meet someone new I can help or connect with spiritually, my calling becomes known to me. My lifetime has been one of patience and dedication, growing and realizing faith through walking through the thick fires of consciousness transformation. The Spirit is willing.
How do you move through consciousness? Are your days deliberately planned, whimsical? Did you feel the fires burning from a young age for a particular skill or gift? Are you on the planet with a mission, or is it time to renew one, or even create one?
Whatever you’re calling, let us know in the comments!
I think your picture is a message for all of us! I am so impatient and it has taken me years to trust that life will evolve perfectly for me. My daughter just got a tattoo that says, ‘Everything in Time’ and every time I see it on her arm I remember the truth of these words.
Thank you Ka for all the posts you share on our star systems and astrology it always informs and guide us on our path.
You are amazing 🤩
Dear Karen,
When I saw my “fortune,” I thought: this could be for everyone. So I am quite pleased that you read the image that way!
Your daughter’s tattoo sounds awesome. I love how her decision to get that tattoo on her arm affects you also, in the most positive way, a reminder to be at peace with what is right now.
Thank you so much for appreciating my astrological posts because it really means so much for me to be able to share these inspirations. You are also truly amazing, and we are hand in hand in our journey with patience and trust, thinking of Ram Dass, “Walking each other home.” Synchronicity has it that my little daughter wanted the fire inspector badge tattoo she got put on her arm this morning. I smile because I think about the ‘fire’ that I have written about here in this Sagittarius connection, and ‘fire’ as the elemental of inspiration and courage and push, and how we learn to tame and give it its proper avenues for everyones’ safety! Wishing you a beautiful Holiday and lots more good memories created! ❤ Thank you, again. hugs!
I have always loved those words to Ka. ‘Walking each other home.’
May we all continue to do that for each other. Happy holidays 🧡💕🎁
I always felt hearts, only because I felt mine so deeply. And as time went on, and as I listened to those hearts, Spirit would speak to mine in that ‘knowing’. It just took a fair while to be silent and listen. But it too had a purpose as my wisdom grew in the falls I had, the depths of understanding I reached until in my 40’s I finally had the courage to stand in my truth and give from that place in my Remedial Massage Therapy and then on into Spiritual Counseling. I can look back and ‘see’ that each step brought together that love I now see, in myself and others. And finally see that we only ever give from what we are, we cannot love someone unconditionally until we can understand and do the same for ourselves. Great post Ka, may that love in your journey bring its light to you 😀❤️🙏🎄🎅
Yes, I see how your love flows out of you, I feel it and your ‘knowingness’ is sincere and took many phases and stages through your process of uncovering what was behind the hurt and ‘the falls.’ The planet Neptune is similar in its symbolic depiction of salvation through the full discovery of the human condition and its deepest tragedy as living in a state of undiscovered grace that once is found in unconditional love. “Amazing Grace… how sweet the sound…” Thank you Mark for your gifts, and for offering them so freely and clearly. Your light shines bright and I so appreciate your presence as an example for all. It’s also brilliant to know that you ‘always felt hearts.’ It is, indeed, a gift inherent in you.
Why thank you for your words kind lady, I think I am blushing 🤣 I do think we all ‘feel’ hearts but our fears keeps us from opening to them. But that has a purpose to slowly allow us to stand in that final acceptance of us and dare to be open. Life asks us to ‘walk the talk’ in all we do. And indeed it is an ‘Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound’ for us all in finding ourselves within it. Thank you Ka, in that love and light you also share, may you always hear and give from that sweetness too 😀❤️🙏🎄🎅
A lovely post, Ka. You always seem thoughtful to me, full of grace, and dedicated to spreading an awareness of the positive choices we have but may not see. I feel a lot of despair and helplessness about the state of the world these days. Your posts make me feel better, and that’s empowering. Spreading hope and kindness makes a tangible difference. Hugs, my friend.
Thank you, Diana.
I hear you. The world is indeed another thing: in wars, climate threat, and divided. However, I see that there is only one main person I can affect and apply my ‘higher self’ toward: the Self. You would probably really enjoy Helen Hamilton’s core lessons which are really like a cliff notes version, ‘how to’ booklet to get the relief from that inner conflict sometimes experienced as outer tragedy. Out of 1). Meditation 2). Self Inquiry 3). Contemplation.. I found #3 to be the most practical and helpful for me to focus my attention on the peaceful/mystical awareness.
Reminds me of your red fence.
The red fence was/is so compelling. Like grace, it came out of the ethers, and entrained your attention. With the awakening awareness, I see that what becomes most compelling to the habitual mind now is the peacefulness and the invitation to go towards that mysterious unknown enchantment. I am no stranger to struggle nor being knocked off my core and getting hooked on habitual rounds of thinking about “the state of things.” A little less suffering is needed in the world through myself, and that allows me to GIVE more, which in turn impacts the world. Basically I believe we can thank our suffering, and move on from it in peace, while doing good deeds.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to get that feedback. I hope so much to become a better writer. To put into words what is emerging is like harnessing a twinkle from a star. Knowing that I make a tangible difference truly does make my day.
Hugs returned ❤
I am grateful to know you and read your wonderful writing through your blog and publications, and enter that rich world you bring to life through your creations and characters which really show your incredible depth! xo
Thank you, Ka, for the wonderful response. I agree that the deepest compassion is often felt by those who have suffered. In that way, many of our struggles become gifts. I know I have a choice about what I choose to focus on and how I respond. Thanks for the reminder. And thanks for recommending Hamilton’s book – a big help, I’m sure, in centering. Hugs, my friend.

Anymore now and I have to wonder just exactly what ‘youth’ means.
You see that is somewhat faded now and life generally runs quite well
on a regular basis day by day. Happy I am and sending happiness to you
Ka and everyone else! Hugs dear heart, Eddie
Oh, Eddie, I’ll wonder with you about ‘youth’ for now; I am middle-aged. Youth is a phase of life but also, I think, a lens on the camera of our minds! I cherish your putting your own wise thoughts and contemplations here because we love that your “life generally runs quite well on a regular basis day by day.” I think that’s your gift you are sharing. It feels like a gentle gift to share: I feel your happiness sent! big HUG. Ka 🙂 And i just can’t help but to smile!
Sharing is caring dear heart! Now know Mercury going retro gives good reason for some small details. Oh well. Hugs Ka
It’s true, Eddie 🙂 💗🪷
Thank you very much for these thought-provoking questions! I was called to art and animals before I was a teenager. Then made a career in counseling for 3 decades. (I guess I had to learn things and pay some dues?) It’s been comforting to come back home to art and animals in retirement. Lately, I’ve been questioning my long time habit of attending and serving in a particular church and wondering if another church might better meet my spiritual needs as being in nature does. Time to explore! Peace and Blessings to you, Ka!
What a lovely to response to read this morning 😃! Reflecting in this way is so helpful. I’m curious to hear how your explorations lead you to what aligns best for your spiritual needs and inner peace! Blessings received and returned to you Xo
