I could say I got caught
in an algorithm
It’s happened to all of us.
One minute a keyword is uttered to a
listening Siri, and the next,
either a target ad or a post with the same
applicable subject
will appear in your
“Feed.”
Just what are you being fed?
Because it better be a mirror to your soul..
I mean, what is the point of your light, if it never reaches out?
Does light sit in the dark?
Hide under a rock?
Or does it yearn to lift the rock from the inside?
Today someone special died. An artist, activist, and a poet. Each day, someone special dies. Many someones.
In their opportunity to share what’s inside them, they spoke of telescopes and friendship. Before they died, they told you about death and joy and grieving, and made it all make sense.
She left this world, today, just shy of her 50th birthday on August 13.
Andrea Gibson
No wisdom is lost to death. Partly because it always finds a way to be manifested. Partly because death is such an illusion
While I agree, imagine the grief. You know it dear friend, Simon. Their struggling loves, going on to live without them! 💔
Thank you, friend.
True. Particularly with a death of one so young.
The lost who still remain in this existence cause intractable pain, as well.
That was a very sobering additional thought, Simon.
Death is a tragedy.. the one who dies does not know the grief they leave behind in their absence. It’s unimaginable.. I lost a dad and mom in the span of three years and I know how unbearable that feeling of loss is .
It’s a bit heart-breaking for me to come to my desktop and see that this comment got lost, only to see it on my desktop. I am so so so sorry. I am so so sorry that I didn’t see the message (the first sorry) and the second sorry because you lost two parents in the span of 3 years. Dear Yassy, honestly I have tears in my eyes. Big hug.
Your hug comforts me ., your words are like a balm .. soothing and nourishing my spirit. Thanks , Ka
💗💗💗
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
As you can imagine I’m grateful for your hugs, too! I mean—
😪
But I’m okay.
Grief is
Rough.
As you know…
And we live in a time where,
It gets to be more and more,
And we have to grow around it, and it forms us. 🫂 💗
As do the hugs…
So, thank you.
Hugs and love glad I know you and can talk to you . Difficult times we live in but we still have this bond of togetherness here for which i am grateful!
Lovely verse and tribute to life and death.
Thank you, Brad. I felt gut-punched when I read that she passed away today. The timing for the info delivery was just after I had eaten and already thinking of the “shortness of life.”
I didn’t know her, but the video poetry reading was very moving.
They were/are indeed very inspiring. I was following them on instagram for a bit as I came in contact with such wonderful poetry from Andrea. Andrea’s memory will be very held by all who knew them. 🩷
A profound lady, and a profound gift in her words. She gave them to us to consider as she flies along, now inside that light ❤️🙏
Andrea was/is the real deal. Their poetry expressed the depths. See if you can read the LOL poem. I hope the link works!

Oh, that is such a touching moment, to say something or not. But…because of it…it left its mark, something to remember her mom by in the gift she shared…in her own way. Thank you for sharing that Ka, it moved me 🤗❤️🙏
Karmically tuned
Thank you for this encouragement, the idea to let our light lift the rock from the inside and sharing Andrea Gibson with us. I was not aware of this powerful poet before. Now, I’m very thankful for the awareness and the beautiful messages.
Your comment really, and often your comments do this for me: put me at this beautiful, sacred pause. I don’t know how to word it. It’s straight from the heart. Thank you so much for receiving Andrea Gibson (who is so touching and brilliant themselves, and who lives on! 💗) and, for receiving the message about lifting the rock from the inside. I am so appreciative. 🙏🏼
