Going beyond death: The May 1st Full Moon in Scorpio

Making Peace with things not going the way we wanted…

When life doesn’t bear fruit, when the seeds we planted died, when the shocks aren’t absorbed well and destruction happens and it takes more time to clean up our messes and spills. Take a look.

I pulled this card specifically for this blog post (for all of us.). This is the gift of the shadow, the previously unknown, and the unveiling of what’s been unsteady, misaligned, or simply not ready yet. This is the foundation that seeks ever more stability (Taurus), structure, support, embodied wisdom-always to balance with its opposite axis. The sign of Scorpio will show us where our weaknesses and vulnerabilities are. Alas, Scorpio is also known as the most resilient sign in the Zodiac. Compared to the Phoenix that rises up from the ashes, the Scorpio archetype is never blotted out, never dies, effectively goes beyond death (even unintentionally!).

In the midst of our grieving, we must dance atop our own destruction! The ego can be so very tricky. I don’t subscribe to there being anything ‘wrong’ with the ego, but it’s the part of us that breaks open and cracks like the outer hard hull, shell, or encasing.

When we break out, this is where we figure out what we are really made of. Who we are really, but the infinite as incarnate, carrying around skin and bones, and many temporary minds, for a relatively brief time?

I invite you to take this Full Moon, squaring Pluto in Aquarius, and liberate any discordant energy. Can it be with us? Can we allow it to be present? If not now, then when?

I could say I got caught

in an algorithm

It’s happened to all of us.

One minute a keyword is uttered to a

listening Siri, and the next,

either a target ad or a post with the same

applicable subject

will appear in your

“Feed.”

Just what are you being fed?

Because it better be a mirror to your soul..

I mean, what is the point of your light, if it never reaches out?

Does light sit in the dark?

Hide under a rock?

Or does it yearn to lift the rock from the inside?

Today someone special died. An artist, activist, and a poet. Each day, someone special dies. Many someones.

In their opportunity to share what’s inside them, they spoke of telescopes and friendship. Before they died, they told you about death and joy and grieving, and made it all make sense.

She left this world, today, just shy of her 50th birthday on August 13.
