Hello Friends,

Mercury has gone retrograde today in Sagittarius. I hope you are all well. I hope you can have your own experience that leads you into a peaceful restoration of your vision, big and small. May your life philosophy support you.

I’m beginning my integration phase. I’ve been off grid, almost entirely for about a week. It barely scratched the surface for my actual need for off-grid living, but it was a drop in the bucket of necessity.

I have curated a post here of the beautiful Buddhas and Bodhisattvas I encountered recently, and that are of great inspiration for me. My experience of beauty and sensory awareness was a delight, as the full moon culminated and shined on me. I dove deeper into explorations around much more private and background scene work. My gratitude is overwhelmed.

May you be happy, may you be well.

With love, always,

Ka

    1. Thanks, contemplating these peaceful beings shows me the potential within myself. I was just in the most beautiful scenery, but it was also a partial “working retreat.” There a lot of integration work from being even partially off-grid. It’s more complex than I can explain, nor have any desire to. My soul craves the balance of connection and intimacy. I was just with a great group of women in leadership. Nice to “see” you, Brad, as I slowly “return.”

    1. Hi Friend,
Was there something you were pointing to with this figurine? From what I can see this is a bit of an archaeological study, and some questions about ceramics and whether or not used for funerary purposes. Recharging doesn’t seem quite available right now but it’s okay. I am flowing with each next thing with as little resistance as I can muster. 🙂💚

      Be well, too!

      1. Ha! It was the first link I saw that came up with the specific image I was looking for, as far as I remember.

As I understand it, a Lohan, or Luohan, represents one of the original disciples of the Buddha. I mentioned it simply as another representation of achievable serenity which, to my mind at any rate, can seem a bit more accessible than the rather stylised figures of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas.

The “figurine” I had in mind is, actually, lifesize. Another, possibly better link for these purposes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yixian_glazed_pottery_luohans

I have heard of people effectively using these statues, or images of them, as meditation aids.

Anyhow non resistance and acceptance is, likely, thee best way to go – you may find yourself recharged more than you realise. Keep at it without trying, if that makes sense. May you find whatever you need in this process.

  1. Beautiful photography Ka, and I think we are being guided more and more to be ‘ Off-grid’ I have several Buddhas within my garden and home also. The energy of peace surrounds each of them, and your wonderful photos reflect that peace beautifully..

Sending you much love and peace dear Ka, in ALL you do.. xx 🙏💖🦋

    1. Wonderful, wonderful to “see” you. Yes, I am dreaming of another fully silent, month-long retreat maybe in 5-10 years. I only did one back in 2016. It was really, really significant for me.

Thank you for your appreciation of my photos. I took them in Puerto Vallarta, MX, at the inspiring eco-retreat called Equilibrium, where the host was a soul and star sister who I newly rediscovered and closely connected for the week. She followed her vision of over 20 years to make that place and committed herself fully to Spirit for its fruition. I was with a group of women led by another woman (other than the retreat host of the space/the space creator), it was a leadership circle and a training. I “taught” and led group meditations as participant in on-going leadership training. 💗

My dear friend, I have missed you. I do understand your garden and art nourishes you. Much much love!!!

      1. Just shows you Ka when you follow your clear vision what can be achieved..
It sounded to have been a wonderful retreat! and I bet your meditations were wonderfully received.

Likewise my friend… I have missed not being here too… I hope to do better in the winter months… 🙂

Sending you so , so, much love dear Ka… xx 💖🙏

  2. Yes indeed, off grid is calling to me too! I’m glad you were able to heed the call and I’m sure more off-grid days will find you and rejuvenate you when you need them most!💜🌿✨

    1. I’m rooting for you, Kristen!!

I’m glad and grateful I got in a modified off-grid experience in. It’s gonna be several years until I’m able to do what I really feel called to do: a silent retreat. I’ll have to wait until my daughter is *more* grown up, or maybe even all grown up. In the meantime, I’ll carve out little pockets as life will allow me to! I hope you get all that off-grid that you need, too! That said, the food at this off-grid leadership retreat was beyond real. It was all healthy, vegan, gluten free and made from scratch with the most delightful spices and varieties. I had no idea to expect that. Truly my own report on the Taurus Full Moon was very accurate for me! It bordered on luxurious. I had plenty of prebiotics from my nutrient dense and perfectly protein- balanced meals. Hurrah! 🙌🏻

    1. Ah hah, you could never sound like everyone else!! Your voice is so distinctive. Thank you so much! I appreciate you! 💗May you also have so much of the same, kind and divine peaceful blessings of inspiration and calm 😌 , along with the unending presence of love.
