15 years blogging! 🎉 Pisces New Moon

I have been considering the direction for this blog in general, and taking a bit of blogging break—not necessarily on purpose, but because it matches the flow of things to either slow down, or pause for a bit. Blogging has been one of my favorite activities so it’s not coming from a place where I actually ‘want’ to move away from it. Necessity is intending certain things for all of us during these very uncertain times, however. I will see as the days go by. The terrain of our current experiences are very “up in the air” and maybe even moreso when Uranus enters Gemini for a good 7ish years.

Regardless, this milestone message came through, and it’s blown my mind. I’ve been regularly blogging for 15 years! Considering that RIGHT NOW I feel like I’m at an unknown transition point with blogging, that’s still a whole decade and a half that I was committed to blogging here! As a result, there’s a lot to reflect on—it was a stabilizing force. The Uranus in Taurus years were surprisingly productive for me on this blog in terms of my continuing to provide content and connection here.

Thank you to everyone who has been here over the years! You all are best readers, and I have so sincerely enjoyed interacting with you! We have grown so much, together! 🌱💗🌱💗🌱 There are also bloggers who I don’t see anymore and you are missed!!

May you all continue to thrive in your creativity and spiritual lives as you continue to blog and make a difference!

So here we are at the next turn of the wheel. The New Moon in Pisces: ♓️

The Pisces energy will quickly transform into Aries energy through the passage of the Vernal Equinox and each parading planet entering Aries to join the Saturn/Neptune conjunction.

In lieu of doing an analytical analysis of this New Moon in Pisces, I’m just gonna note my own experience of feeling like I’ve been living in the twilight zone lately, and even reflecting back on the level of sheer challenge and (sometimes) triumph I’ve encountered in relatively the past 14 years of my life. I’ve been through a major back injury and disability, graduate school and doctorate, parenting journey, the pandemic and extreme isolation while being an early parent, complications and challenges around that followed by other personal matters that I will not publicize, and having business setup challenges galore.

As for Mercury retrograde, we have had several expensive disruptions of technical, mechanical, physical and financial in just the last 48-72 hours.

All that said, the world has gone crazy with wars that are upsetting. There needs to be peace. I have nothing eloquent nor especially intelligent to say about this. I have zero desire to lay out details and expound on all the ways these wars are devastating for us all . I’m just so exhausted with it both the personal and collective journey.

But hope.

Deep in my bones is actually not my own hope but the hopes of people who I love. Their hope keeps me alive and thriving when all seems to have gone dark.

This to me is the heart of Pisces: the transcendent love that defies all darkness, especially when it’s overwhelming darkness—especially when real hope seems so fragile and vulnerable, to be held only within a child’s whim.

But we must have hope.

This Pisces New Moon is about unexpected sources, hope in the magnitude of the energy of stars.

I wish you all well, with the diamond wishes of bodhisattva to free all beings from suffering. I love all your precious lives.

  1. And sending much more love and hope out into the world Ka, to build that peace and healing and go beyond this time. Happy Bloggiversary kind lady, may we hear many more years of your expressing that hope to us all 🤗❤️🙏

  2. Congrats on 15 years Ka! I totally get the mood – twilight zone and mercury retrograde that always wreaks havoc on my electronics. I guess that’s what happens when you’re an energy witch, lol. xx

Well, I like to try to find some different way of singing “Happy Birthday”.

And, though you may rest awhile, and deal with other matters of this life, just be aware I am hereby stealing your nose again, to make sure you have got to come back, if only to find it…

    More seriously…

The flavour of your post is very retrospective. I know that feeling. Almost a twinge of sadness, looking over what was, wondering how on earth we got to this.

And there is a lot to wonder about, at the moment. A world being driven further into hatred and death by the prejudices of old men, who seem to think it is a privilege to make the young die first.

I will not besmirch your thread by expressing precisely what I think of these…

But, as to hope… Well, it can seem to be very distant. But, in the words of a song to which I’ve been listening lately, “the dawn will come, the dark will fade.” Hold on and keep on keeping on. You have your own light to raise up, and maybe do not realise how important that is.

Which is why I’m now off to hide that nose. Come and get it…!

    😁

  4. I came here to wish you a joyous blogiversary! Then I read your post and was blown away by your reflections on the current astroweather / global energetic frequencies. I appreciate your take so much. It strongly resonates regarding hope. Just a day or two ago I commented on social media and was rather blunt about my cynicism. But then I wrote about hope. Not because I wanted to put on airs. But because a small part of me does feel that this isn’t purely a hot mess with no endgame. I find like smidges of joy almost every day. Your presence in my life is a great example of the joy. Thanks to WP for bringing you here 15 years ago. Through this community, so many creatives have bloomed and cross – pollinated with other bloggers and readers. This is love in action.

I wish you love my dear friend !

  5. Yay! Fifteen years! I was just notified of 8 years blogging and that felt both exciting and daunting. I can relate to the thinking behind what direction to go with my blog as it’s definitely something I’m considering. 🙃
