My sweet 4 year old made her first painting with me at the play art studio at the Denver Children’s Museum. She did this completely on her own with no help from me!

I did spend hours setting up her shop, however. We had a bit of unexpected travel, and my acupuncture business is still being built. This year has brought us so many unexpected expenses, damage from water and the threat from the hurricane that fortunately didn’t cause harm. I’ve had years of debilitating pain that I am now mostly fully free of—but threats still linger. Back pain according to Louise Hay and many others is associated with money challenges and lack of feeling/being supported. I’ve been trying to help people via astrology consultations, reiki, shamanism, and I have a lot of offerings. It’s a challenge for me to learn how to get the word out. I made such a difference in my own life and I really wish others would receive the gifts I have spent decades cultivating.

  2. Hi Ka. The art design is adorable. Are you saying your daughter created that design and you turned it into the products above? No products show up on either link in the post. Marketing is a key piece of building a business, often requiring time and effort. I could offer some general suggestions like handing out cards, telling people you meet, creating a business website, social media accounts, etc. And of course referrals from the people you help.

      Yes, Brad! These are good tips. Time and effort is heart of it all. We want our time and efforts to show some results and sometimes they don’t. I think the advice I give myself is more patience. I might be waiting a while, though.

      What would you like to know about my shamanic sessions? I do tend to include them with my acupuncture offerings (in person), and I also work with people remotely (occasionally). The shamanic sessions are healing and therapeutic, but they also transcend the body and bring into alignment of spirit and the next point of connection along the journey with spirit. I help people connect with their own direct connection.

        1. I am working on the website for different offerings. Right now it’s been on a pause as it just includes booking for in-person. I hope to have the energy open up to move forward with it. Eventually I will do remote work with people I have not established with in person first. 🙂

  7. Your website is beautiful with the trees. It’s also informative. I get acupuncture about once a month for sinus/allergies, back pain, or whatever is going on. I had not thought of using acupuncture for tinnitus which I am almost used to, though when I become aware of it, it becomes obvious.

    1. Thank you so much, JoAnna! I really do need to make the time to work more on my website (and by that I mean to earn the money to hire someone to help me with branding and SEO and all the things). That said, I missed this reply.

      Yes, acupuncture is amazing for just about anything. That’s why I just wrote, “more.” Of course I love it most for back pain and sinus allergies. I also love, love it for GI issues, sleep, insomnia. I mean, it’s a little bit ridiculous how much research is available to support its use–as a standalone and often integrated with Western medicine.

      Thanks for you feedback about my site. I, too, love those trees (and the movement!). 🙂 I have a big vision for the website, so it’s definitely a project that will take a lot of time, investment, and energy. But so much of it exists in my mind as a portal for all my services and to be able to offer supplements/herbs, etc. Too. Ideally, I can consult with astrology, herbals and shamanism offerings as well. Whew! See, right now I have other things to accomplish, first. And I will bring this back to you: Divine Timing! I feel the growth, though, every day.I will all eventually come together 🙂
