Leo Full Moon: Embrace your unique timeline and flow

In theory or perhaps in the depths of our beingness (Leo), we dissolve into the state of the all-ness (Aquarius). This would be “us” experiencing non-separation from all of life. While identity, then, looks as a thin veneer (Leo). It holds us in unique contrast to the whole (Aquarius). We still find ourselves awkwardly fleshing out and standing tall as ourselves, non-the-less—as a phenomenon (Leo/Aquarius). We just are. Our identity is our apparatus.

While this “Selfhood” or apparatus is distinct, it’s not merely marked by one’s preferences of likes and dislikes nor of one’s performance scores on all dimensions of human output. It’s not fully lit, either, by being called a name, or by virtue of having our own tell-tale gait.

Sometimes what makes us stand out is the ways in which we simply cannot conform. No matter how hard we try, we stick out like sore thumbs against a sea of sameness. This shows up clearly when we attempt to perform or people-please. We find ourselves failing.

The individual vs the collective is the main theme of the Leo/Aquarius dynamic. It expresses this “divide” on the surface, but on the deeper level, shows us how one carves out a true “role” in life, by conforming to one’s inner alignment. That alignment may stand in stark contrast to what the collective is doing at any given time, but it does not mean that it doesn’t serve the collective, nor act as its agent.

The collective needs our self-agency.

Getting really clear on what’s true for us is what this time calls for. It’s the clarion call of courage for facing fears/and those delusions around what hides or masks our lifeforce.

It’s important to continuously “take time out” for reflection and deep diving into what makes ourselves a “good fit” for the collective, for just this reason. Because we do have a role. We do matter, and we are important. It is just this beautiful combination of self-assigned and divinely-assigned role we play as we move through our daily lives interfacing with the collective.

Maybe by listening with courage to the inner, stable voice of confidence (Leo), we gain our sustainable freedom (Aquarius) to explore from places where we are already anchored into our knowing. Holding step with this ‘divineness within’ simply helps us to pilot our humans better. When we can better pilot our human, based on its own flight and optimization requirements, (such as a living, organic vessel would demand), then we can be of better service and in better rapport with the collective.

Should you find yourself well-rested, nourished, and resourced: well now……there’s the full freedom to live a life of meaning and creation just waiting for your specific, attuned actions!

When we explore the depths of this Leo archetype, we flow with the light of our beings as the beacon. We need not steam-roll others and be arrogant (that’s not even on the table for offer!) because we come from a place of purity and innocence in our simplicity. We are in part responding to the needs of our bio-organism while simultaneously creating and producing from inspiration. This is the basic chemistry of our true selfhood–the one that is ‘ready to play’ with the synergy of the collective.

Thank you for being here! Thank you for reading!

Below is a really lovely meditation that I hope you get to enjoy in honor of this Leo Full Moon.

  3. Love this Ka! A beautiful post filled with a deep understanding of the astrology moving through us all right now.

As you say, expressing our unique and authentic truth out into the world is exactly where we will find our freedom.

I read somewhere that this time we are moving through is not a collapse. It is clearing for us all.
Clearing creates space. Space allows our truth to root deeply and to express our gifts with each other.

It’s truly a gift to be here at this time of change ♒️

    1. Thanks so much, Karen. I see what you are saying similarly. It is a gift to be here at this time. When we are in the appreciation of it and riding the wave of the more freeing aspects of the journey, it all makes sense— that we were making space and freeing energy from locked states of perceptual embodiment. If we are, however, in the density aspect of it, it can be quite painful with tremendous suffering.

All is allowed to be and exist for what it is within the continuum.

I wish for all beings to be free from suffering of samsara and painful experiences within that. It’s my daily practices to focus on illuminating my own mind and training in peace.

I do believe we are in the age of Aquarius. Also, I’ve got natal-ly a Leo sun and Aquarius rising as well as Aquarius on my S. Node and Leo on my North Node. My Sun is soon to progress to Libra!

I’ve walked much of my astrological journey aware of the symbolism and archetypes and the transformational pivots between apparently dualistic signs (as they are one with two delineated aspects from a certain perspective). I enjoy so much sharing my astrology posts, poetry, art from my side of experiencing in this interdependent matrix we find ourselves in. Thank you for appreciating me 💎💕🗣️🙏🏼 and my contributions. I’m always delighted for our connecting in this space.

  4. Identity is a difficult issue.

I believe that we are “incarnate” – that the spirit lived before and lives on. But… I have to accept, also, that elements of “me” are based in my genetic code.

Therefore, whatever I was in past physical forms I am not now, and what I am now I never will be again, entirely. But how does this differ from a child becoming a man? I am not the 5 year old me, but he is within me. Same for a 5,000 year old version.

This has been much in my thoughts recently. As if the old versions of me are watching from within, without really understanding what goes on now.

Perhaps, that is too melodramatic. But it ties in with the point that we are like outcrops of discrete personality in the ocean of spirit. And, maybe, even as we walk in this present world, physically, we also watch from the greater consciousness – perhaps dreaming our own destinies.

      1. It’s interesting you are making a connection between our blog posts. I had not read this post, and it looks like it was posted after I had posted this particular one. I don’t think the author has visited here to my knowledge. I have read from notes and silence before and commented. We sometime of similar “modes of inquiry.” I wonder why you chose this particular blog post to draw a connection on your side of things?

Your said your brain is “tickled” and your senses are “barking,” please tell me: are these expressions of enjoyment? btw. I enjoyed your previous comment, but haven’t yet been able to reply to it. Wishing you a delightful day.

        1. I interact almost daily with the Notes & Silence blog. It’s the daily dose of Zen that keeps me somewhere near sane. This particular post just created the suggestion of a connection in my possibly disorganised mind.

I don’t know if the idiom “barking up the wrong tree” translates across the Atlantic. I just meant “I may be wrong”. As to “tickling my brain cell”, that is my rather self-deprecating way of saying “It set me thinking…” But yes, I rather enjoyed the process. Always a pleasure to muse on your posts.

No problem regarding a reply – you have more than enough to keep you busy in “real” life, I suspect…! 😁

Mind, given the time difference, I’m surprised you commented. Sleepless night?

          1. I’m happy you are enjoying and find some semblance to your mental peace within Notes & Silence, and also enjoy being here, too. I am guessing that my blog is also part of your experience to your mind make connections in a way that harmonizes, preferably. That said the idioms do transfer, as I was being playful as often you are by emphasizing them with a gentle tease. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Glad to be mused with as my blog posts are interacting with the muse with deliberate kind intending.

Have a great day ahead. Some mornings are earlier than others. Rest assured all is well over here, Simon. Take care.

    1. Your comment, “identity is a difficult issue” : I took that to mean that it’s difficult to define. I would agree with that–which is why it wasn’t really the focus on my post. It really IS NOT my interest to strictly define it, but to loosely appreciate its expression– like a brush stroke that can be painted over, or added to, changed. It’s malleable, but it’s got form. It’s formable.

I appreciated that you pivoted, then, to speaking about your beliefs because it reduced the intellectualizing of your comment.

What I think we are exploring here are beliefs and how we operate with/from them, in a sense. We dip into symbolism and archetypes from time to time–the realness of entities and amount of life we give to them…

I’m appreciating your way of showing that you are coming from your belief’s perspective. I am truly more interested in *your* experience and perspective from that light when reading your comments.

I loved your mind’s way of transcending yourself by viewing these multiple versions of you simultaneously without being convinced that you are definitely, exactly any of one them, discreetly. Being certain in some cases, that you are not that– say your 5 year old you. Recognizing also and allowing this “self” as an on-going observer or experiencer within your system. Mentioning your 5, 000 y.o. version was a great way to express your point. I didn’t find anything melodramatic, but you did use a higher number. lol. I appreciated your pause point at the end of your comment. It was one of those pauses that gave me a genuine smile. “And, maybe, even as we walk in this present world, physically, we also watch from the greater consciousness–perhaps dreaming our own destinies.” I just loved that for its beauty, poetry, and sheer pleasure of contemplation.

      1. Thank you for this.

To be honest, were I intellectualising this (pardon us lawyers for having such a habit) I’d have got lost in a labyrinth where the existence of identity would be an open question. The way I approached it was one of the simpler methods. And no, it is not a focus in your post – but the interplay of the discrete individual and the cosmic mind (for want of a better term) seems implicit.

Do not all discussions resolve, at some level, to an exploration of belief?

My experience… well, there was a reason I chose an improbably high number…!

The multiple versions I would say are like building blocks. Each separate, each contributing to the whole “me”, which is, itself, never fixed or static. And no, I am not aware of much detail. Just impressions, mainly, and that may be well.

A question I often ask: who dreams the dream that dreams us?

In the end, I suspect, we do.

        1. Oh, I totally agree that the identity-cosmic consciousness interplay was implicit, throughout.

Thank you for your response, and for your sharing, as always! Love the building blocks identities piece idea as well.

Keeping the question(s) ‘alive’ and nourished, I think, is one of the best practices. That question is like a guiding station/light on the train/ride we have embarked on, probably long ago—as to your ‘improbable number,’ a chuckle.

        2. Simon, I also want to offer that I was awkward ‘languaging’ today. I had caps when I originally didn’t mean to, but I caught an autocorrect or typo where my meaning was obscured and I wanted to fix it, and in the process i made it into caps for the sake of my own eyes—(vision) not for sound emphasis.

I also want to add that I didn’t quite think you were intellectualizing it moreso that I was trying to understand, “identity is difficult.” In the moment it read as “intellectual.” It was hard to make sense of for me as a statement: “identity is difficult.” I could have asked you more questions.

I hope *any of that* made sense. This is why I don’t normally write long blog comments. This is better reserved for email, perhaps. Maybe next time.

          1. Thanks for your understanding, Simon!

I have been blogging since 2011, and that feature you speak of, where you can’t edit your own errors in comments on others’ blogs, has stayed the same. Often many of us bloggers would either let them go, (we just work ‘through’ it and keep the error) or write to the other and say, “Hi, sorry to bother you, but can you please adjust my typo.” 🙂 But, I overall, haven’t learned as much as I’d like from the blogging process. There are many bloggers who have disappeared in that time. I miss them. I’m happy enough to continue blogging though. Last night I told my husband, “I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed.” We laughed. We both decided to use my mixed metaphor going forward as many times as we could try to apply it, for our own amusement. Yes. It’s “surrender humor.” Oh, that’s my new name for it. 💥 🤯 😬😅

Have a nice evening in Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
