Happy Holidays! πŸŽ„β™₯️ 2025

Art by our little one, 2025

Wishing all my readers near and far for a fun and safe Holiday Season filled with delight and cheer, and the kind of cozy peace that meets your needs in every way.

I like to think about those miracles and the magic of the season. It’s a rich time for tradition and memory-making. It’s also lovely to revisit classics and call in the sacred Winter stories of all times. ❄️

It can be a challenge for many who experience hardship and estrangement, but hope can always be there to support and to lift up our gratitude and soften our hearts while in grief. If we each look inside for the light within: we find it, ever-glowing! 🌟 It cannot be extinguished.

There are so many ways that the stars light our pathsβ€”may we be ever-inspired by the mysteries we are given. Each new moment can bring that miracle or the change that we were seeking. Anything is possible.

It’s a good thing that I noticed that this scheduled post i set up last night didn’t get posted right. I had mistakenly scheduled it for the PM. Nope, that wasn’t my preference. Did I drop the ball? LOL This year we are setting a “tone” for future traditions. It’s so much fun. Planning and dreaming together is working in my little mental “cave” of inspiration–we embark on the creativity train. There is some “choo-chooing” output for this Nanopoblano via my HOMAGE to Kauai and also my Homage to the Tao Te Ching, intertwining. Meanwhile, so much else going on behind the scenes. This is probably the best part of “social media;” that is, the real life. Social media backlights the “real life” and like Plato’s shadowy cave, social media only shows “some of it.”

How are you all doing? How is Nanopoblano going? I am visiting your blogs, best I can. I think i’m doing better than previous years, thanks to my partial scheduling strategy. Also trying to schedule ahead our family lives, 2024. There’s really just ONE more week of this NanoPoblano November Challenge! We can DO THIS! I’m gearing up for “December Delights.” I think I’m moreso just having fun with catch phrases and new potential blogging themes that inspire me.

Unafraid to Stand Alone β€” Fiesta Estrellas – ReBLOGathon Day28

In this life, we might be terrified. we might feel alone, though we are not. we must work every day to give ourselves enough space, to be who we are. however we are, β€œdark” or β€œlight” or the huge gamut spanning between even if not one single person feels that what we offer is valuable, […]

Today’s reblog links back to a poem I wrote, about not being afraid to stand alone. I think this is a good reminder for all of us while the season is all about “coming together.” For so many this season bring a lot of pressure, loneliness, and oftentimes tremendous grief. However for others it’s a time to really express our happiness and our love with our friends, families and everyone in our lives. Truly the holidays are days when most people have off work–even though not all do.

Yesterday I took time for myself to really appreciate the moments in my life. There’s this beautiful quiet descending upon me. It’s far from depression and it feels like inner peace. I’m not even chasing after it either. It’s there when all the chasing runs its course. πŸ™‚
