Poem 26, Day 26

feather flows

on water’s tread

the texture of ripples

from ducks’ swimming

maneuvers

.

the moss on the bank

with another layer of

fine hairs ascending up

beyond its ground cover,

velvety-rich and green

.

damp soil from

morning rain

the kind of rain that

eases the mind’s response

to a new

day

and suggests rainboots

.

once more a cuddle delays

putting on the lights,

opening smooth curtains,

and revealing the misted vistas

beyond window’s inside light reflection

softening and aglow

.

steep the tea in a kettle

for longer,

saturating, steaming

then tasting a

rendering of flowers

on an untouched palate,

.

thus begins the day.

Poem #5 Day 5

unzip your star

and open up to your light

with the frequency of now,

step into photons anew

as you are able to.

Can you,

pause,

and put your hand to your wrist?

Feel around that palpable twist

to hear your inner drum,

rah-pum, rah-pum-pumm,

eclipse is not so far away

on Monday,

the solar star

is for a moment dark

to reset

your time frames

speak up from your heart-sonnet

listen from your inner ear planes

if you don’t know what to do,

a poem is always true.

Earth alive

worshiping jive

watch the birds

when the sun’s

obscured

listen to the sound of their

curiosity?

wtf happened to the

luminosity?!
