Dear beloved souls,
I drew this card with the intention that it be given for your Libra Eclipse reading for October 14th. The eclipse series links back to the one in late Aries on April 20th. You might want to direct yourself back to that time for reflecting on your life themes. Perhaps it should be no surprise to me that I align closely with this reading because of my own chart–regardless that this is a general reading for all my blog readers. It will mean something slightly different for each of you. For me it does link back to my natal Pluto. As Pluto is a slow moving planet–this will be a similar placement for many in my generation.
Completion is a natural cycle of life. It need not be feared; and in some contexts it can be worked with and encouraged with grace and ease. Libra and balancing the scales tracks back to having healthy boundaries in relationships, including the relationship with oneself. Since this eclipse is around the S.Node of the moon, it relates back to the past and what is habitual behavior for this incarnation. WE are working to release these behaviors through the spark of awareness coming in from Aries. This is a particularly potent eclipse with the North Node (always opposite south node) in Aries conjoining (next to) Eris. Interestingly Eris wasn’t discovered until 2005, but it is named after the Greco-Roman Goddess of strife and discord. Once again, I find it interesting that this asteroid was discovered at the nearby observatory, a very important observatory at Palomar mountain.
There is division among astrologers about what to count as significant in terms of how “old” or “big” the astronomical phenomenon or material is. My astrological slant tends to come from the idea that what emerges in consciousness is also identified in the sky. Because, to me, the sky is a reflection and a mirror–as a metaphor–but in many cases, also quite literal. I am not a mundane astrologer, one who practices the specifics of country and geo-political affairs, but it’s clear that there are is much strife and war at present.

The grouping of the elements of this reading cause me to turn within and ask the question, “is there an end to war?” It’s not a rhetorical question. It’s an open ended one. I’m not being facetious either. Is war natural, like completion, like strife? Isn’t peace just as natural? I think if we really go within and find those spaces inside us that want to heal and bless, we can really allow ourselves to find peace within. Here is a statement I made regarding my own personal resolve (see the bolded text below). You may take any of it if you want, or you can leave it here, on the page. With an open hand, what is there to “pick up” or “cling to”? Can we soften into our hard places, and gently ask ourselves “how can we open to and forgive those who have hurt us, knowingly or unknowingly?” Furthermore, how can we create our own little corners of peace. Does not everyone deserve to live in peace, even those who are unable to examine life and find or ascertain valuable meaning in it? I think the answers for each of us are unique and deserve a spacious blessing. Can there be enough room for all us? What can we clean out and leave from our lives that’s just too heavy to carry? Can we let go with gentleness?
I’m not gonna wait for the world to be a peace. I do much better in the world when I pursue my own contentment. My inner peace matters. Your inner peace matters. What makes me content is probably going to be different than what makes you content. Right now, I’m gonna exercise and focus on feeling the life and strength in my body. I will continue to rise. I will not allow world events to rock my core. I have power over me. I declare it. I own it. I walk this walk of peace in my being—not just during certain times, but always.
Ka Malana
May all beings be at peace. May Love Prevail. May our hearts, bodies, and minds heal and we find our way into peaceful certainty and resolve.

Wise words held within your Quote Ka… Indeed.. We each of us need to find that peace within ourselves.. Only then I feel will we then reflect outwardly what we experience as peace…
People are in conflict within themselves half the time.. Blaming, shaming, pointing figures in anger and hate..
Likewise I AM in total alignment with your thoughts… We have to hold compassion, and focus on our hearts centre through love and peace..
Often such conditions of violence are meant to stir our souls so as we do not find that peace.. as the divisions are kept in momentum, for control etc..
I went quiet after my illness, to go back within to regain that balance, and strength.. For I knew deep within, we would be needed to hold our energy points across the globe..
Thank you for your insightful post Ka..
Sending LOVE xx ❤
Dear Sue, I have been longing to reply to you. There is just a lot to do! Haha, you know that. It’s okay, but I wanted you to know my intention and feel that love through even when I have not yet responded. I truly believe you can feel it! I trust you are continuing to heal. I didn’t know the extent of your illness, but you seem to have moved yourself through it with a lot of grace, and so much wisdom earned.
Thank you dear Ka…. I so know how time is precious and how fast it flies especially when you are busy and with a little one too Never worry about getting back to me.. I know we can both feel our intentions as we send back and forth.. I really do feel your sincere healing love dear Ka and thank you..
I am much improved thank you and yes I am continuing to heal, even though I still have some niggly issues, but I am positive I can heal myself fully…
And thank you, the time out did indeed give me time to reflect and get back in tune with my inner guidance once again.. So Bless you dear Ka..
Much love returned xx ❤

A beautiful post Ka… I so resonate with your musing and feel the world is indeed being led within to face up to their responsibility and be the change. To put down those weapons and declare peace first with oneself and those around us! The noise is becoming louder, but we must not not fear, only allow ourselves to surrender to everything but peace and harmony! Thankyou for shining your light and being part of this great shift which is bordering on its completion now! Much love to you x
I have been wanting to reply for such a long time and was unable to get to the writing block until I posted my most recent post: possibly the most important one I have ever written. You are so right about allowing that peace and harmony and moving through the fear. Recognizing it and moving through it. You are a blessing, Barbara. Hugs and love your way.
What Sue Dreamwalker said Ka, this world is only a reflection of us all in those straits of mind. If we walk into a forest full of nature…it is so calm and peaceful. Even if the wind blows the branches wildly, it is still a beauty. Humans though, ever keep us on guard…until we don’t by seeing our fear and letting it go. May we pass on that inner truth and find that peace within us all. Thank you for the share kind lady 😀❤️🙏
You highlighted that peace within, so well, Mark. May we find it, cherish it, and allow it to be without clinging too much and squeezing it out. LOL
Thank you, Blessing your way dear friend!
Thanks for the wise reminders and mini meditation on peace Ka. May we find more ways to root ourselves in love and peace.
Brad, you are so right!! Did you ever notice your name is also “Bard” when misspelled? LOL. I just figured that out. Where’s my song? LOL. Thank you so much for adding your gentle peaceful blessing here. Hugs Brad
Thanks Ka. Yes, I enjoy the bard version of my name as a reminder to embrace different energies. I’ll work on a song or at least some words! 😋
The fighting within that emerges inside us is hard enough to understand
let alone what is seen around us. Your kind and peaceful thoughts give
us all a place to start learning another way.
Thank you, Eddie ❤ You are loved. You are appreciated. I am so glad that you are here.
Hugs dear heart!
Thanks for sharing this, there was a lot in here I needed to read/hear. I have a few things coming to a point of completion in my life and it has been a little tough, some grief in some ways but I know it is for the best.
Gentle hugs your way! Thank you, Kel 💗
Beautiful post Ka. This year is definitely been a time of deep healing and completing what no longer serves us. May we all find peace ☮️ within.
Yes, Karen. We are very much “in it.” Let us experience the peace that belongs to us every day. Love you! Thanks for visiting.
I just wrote a very new blog post, which feels like the most important one I have yet written.
