This New Moon with 7 “planets” in the sign of Aries is stacked up in the fire sign with harmonious aspects to both Uranus at the cusp of Taurus/Gemini and Pluto in early Aquarius.
The main theme of the New Moon ties to the Chiron conjunction within a one degree orb.
The area where we are wounded is also the area where we heal. The focus on this New Moon is around new beginnings, but Chiron has a history and legacy of abandonment. Chiron can heal others.
Let’s examine the areas in our own lives where we can set the intention for the deepest layer of healing around the abandonment of Self. How can recover those pieces that fragmented through trauma and division?
You might want to spend some time reflecting on new ways of relating to your own process of discovery and initiation. What triggers the spark of innovation in your own consciousness? What catalyzes the process of returning and being in reunion with thyself?
I’ve been meditating on many Buddhist practices with patient acceptance, tranquil abiding, and karma along with Advaita experiences of non-duality and investigations into witnessing awareness.
Our actions (Mars and its ruler Aries) are fundamental to how we express and experience the “call and response” of life and form. What is it that witnesses even before form or attention arises? When we make deliberate attempts and set our intentions on peaceful states of mind, can we witness our own becoming in the deep emptiness of an open and spacious sky?
Self inquiry, meditation and contemplation might not be for everyone, but healing deeply and reuniting aspects of the realization of oneness seems a worthy way to use this spark of life. Chiron can show us how our original pain points can be just the alchemy we need to put many profound spiritual practices into action, and transform the lives of ourselves and others through pursuing liberation and Bodhichitta.
May all beings be happy and free from misery and suffering.
