Taking a break in the midst

Listen to the inside voice

It’s another day and another set of circumstances for all of us. Pre-Mercury retrograde shadow begins in just a few days and emotions are getting stirred up. The eclipses are coming up with lunar and then the solar eclipse on April 8. I know many people who are traveling for eclipse viewing.

The one back in May 2012, we saw it at Canyon De Chelly. I felt it so viscerally and watched the birds react. Seeing this solar eclipse in such an expansive setting, as I was migrating across the United States to my new home in California, was riveting.

I’m comfortable staying at home nowadays. I have seen/experienced enough excitement for a good while.

All of my senses are calling me inward even as Spring is Springing. I believe I am still wanting to rest in the middle of the seasons. I’m allowing the rest to fill me up and meanwhile, emotionally, I am hosing myself down and clearing out. Clearing is a rich practice.

I inadvertently did some Spring cleaning. I can’t wait to do more, but not after some more decent rest.

This Chameleon card I picked for today is just perfect as I focus deeper into my meditation and pivot where pivoting is needed. I’m using the “Irish jig” as my inspiration for the movements I will be doing in the coming month—keeping it light, keeping it bag-pipey and spirited!

That Pisces New Moon had me so deeply appreciative of my own awakening and inner resources. I was fully in my own circle of love. It was a real treat to behold. I’ve never quite experienced it in that way before, so I know I am deepening into new levels of “sinking in.”

What a gift it is to breathe, walk, talk, and take everything in with our senses. May you find your inner golden treasures past the leprechaun’s reach, and sometimes Because of the leprechaun. 🍀 Follow your rainbow 🌈 into what is unique just for you. Spend time making shapes of the clouds and telling a story about them. Fill your heart up with hope in all those dark spaces of raw wounds. Know that you are not alone. You are never alone! Snuggle in & fasten your seatbelt. The scenery grows richer as we traverse through Space on our gorgeous globe of Earth.

  1. I agree Ka. This is such a transformative and powerful time of change for so many of us and you share this honestly and beautifully.

The gift we can give ourselves during this time is to listen deeply to our own needs and honour our truth, which you are, and like your card, adapt and change like the chameleon as we move through it all.

Interestingly, I am travelling during the solar eclipse and through the retrograde and so, I will be open to receive, learn and adapt as well. Grateful for all that I will experience.

    Many blessings Ka. 🩷🧡

  2. It is such an awakening time Ka, and I deal with it on such a daily level that it has truly caught me out. Now I know I have to be ‘naked’ so to speak in facing it, just like anyone else. But it has been a powerful time, and in understanding it, and as you have said, a very beautiful journey. Seeing something so profound in it all, and becoming something very new. Big hugs kind lady, may there be rest too, among the rainbows and nature that you see in this new world coming our way 😀❤️🙏

    1. Your comments are so lovely. I don’t even have words for it. Thank you for coming by and leaving your expressions of your experience and for the big hugs!! I’m glad you are seeing the profundity and experiencing the awakening in its fullness. So much love for you! 💞💞💕

  3. I love this post and love the chameleon card you have picked…. I have been going deep for a long time now. which is really lovely and rewarding. It seems so strange that as I. move towards the end of my life, I become more at peace with myself.
You have a wonderful weekend….sending love to youXX

  4. I’m glad you’re taking care of yourself. I can relate to being comfortable staying home, resting to fill our spirits, and clearing out as I enjoy (for the first time) decluttering the space around me. Thank you for the encouragement to fill our hearts with hope. ❤
