Lost poem

I wrote a dream on a page

but lost its essence and lost its

glow

What I do know

is that it will come back in

Another form

waiting patiently to

be born.

Friends,

Challenges have always held a certain appeal for me. I like to choose them. Which ones and when. Ra Avis over at her poetess’ home blog: https://rarasaur.com sent a message to the Cheer Peppers on Facebook for a Poem a Day challenge through the month of April.

I’m going for it. Yesterday was my teaser day. My attempt. It was partially written, and then completely lost. I know that when I gently invite myself into the challenges of my choosing, especially alongside of others (because I can and have ‘gone it alone’ for probably an eternity.). It’s always better with friends!

💗🙏🏼

So fire up your poetry-makers! Open up the hatches. Get that kite out and read for the wind

    1. Thank you so much! I am working at it and so many things! Ironically I found the partially written poem in my drafts today, at the start of my 30-30 days poetry challenge.! Thank you for always your sincerity and levity in the exact combo you provide 😂☺️😍⭐️🙏🏼💕

  1. Always enjoy what you currently do. Sometimes it stirs me to write Ka.
However the daily poem would be someone else’s choir that I could not
attach myself to since I already have a routine that I have and find some
times difficult to maintain. (along with countless other things to do)
Looking forward to seeing what’s new in your life! hugs Eddie

    1. Thank you for entertaining the thought! You never know what might flow through on your own routine! 🪁
We will see what happens if I can manage a poem a day in April. It’s something I’ve not tried before 🌸🌟🌀 transforming how I use language throughout the Mercury retrograde sounds great to me. Hugs, Eddie!! Thank you for being here! I hope you like some of the poems ☺️

      1. Oh goodness I didn’t even remember Mercury being retrograde! Let’s not even good there!
You need to try this for sure! If everything feels right. Just do it Ka. April is a hot month (astrologically) You never know what might happen!

        1. Yes, indeed. I’m leaning into the good feeling it gives me to be here *and* writing, listen to the words that want to flow through! Exploring the senses of our beautiful lives. Yes we’ve got many aspects happening this month that may surprise us in all sorts of way (Jupiter conjunct Uranus among them!) and I’m going into it with an open mind! 🌸💕🌟🙏🏼
