A desert pink
inspiration
at foot-level
a silent explosion,
surrounded by erosion.
Shadows trace like
spidering shades
give insects
bridges, blades.
The desert is sharp and crisp
Cacti fruit
prickly wisp.
Its juices hidden inside sand-bound jewels.
