Hope is here for us to stay,
Even if there is no solution to this day.
Arrogance lives in all the spaces
We cannot control these outward races.
It’s not our job to compete with masses or madness.
It’s only our job to look for the light.
When we ourselves cannot find it (hope), we must borrow it from others.
Hope is not a commodity. Hope is not faith in an outcome. It can be shared without being known, and it will never lose its supply.
Hope is a focus on light; it’s an end that creates a new beginning.
Hope can peer back at us from the abyss of darkness. When we wrap our whole heads in darkness: our imagination generates images.
This is the power to make your way through the darkness, to never let it win. Despair is the only real enemy.
Borrow hope from others.
Seek it out in your sleep.
A very uplifting, inspirational and motivational message in this pure verse of yours written by your sensible , gentle heart.

Thank you dear one! 🤗
Pleasure is mine , dear Ka 🤗♥️
Lovely verse and message. Thanks Ka. 😍
We slowly build that light of hope within us Ka, sometimes borrowed, sometimes from those blues we hold. Life has a delightful purpose to find that, even when wallowing in a little mud occasionally. Great post kind lady, may your hope supply never run out 🤗❤️🙏
Hi Mark,
My hope supply did run out, and I was in trouble. I know what it’s like to walk the edge, longing for the awakening that leads me to the inner knowing that is fully stabilized. In the meantime, I only survive with the help from others.
The second I end up with “something to give,” I never hesitate to lend som hope. Thank you, Mark. 🙏🏼 May your hope never run out.
Sorry to hear you’ve reached that depth Ka. Admittedly it is those times that we look deeper and find something in ourselves to go one more step. An answer to something within us. I pray you find it, and I’m sending you strength, healing and an extra bucket of hope kind lady. Hang in there, and I’m sending big hugs to help it shine too. Take care 🤗🥰❤️🙏
Thank you, my friend. There’s so much deep learning in how we interrelate, especially under this Libran full moon. In my Buddhist practice, we engage in the contemplation that all beings were/are our kind mothers! That means we wouldn’t be here without the kindness of others. The “going one more step” becomes the love that we grow into another space… I am so grateful for your hugs! 🤗 ✨✨🌱✨✨ Your kindness matters. 💖🙏🏼🐈 Now please enjoy your chocolate 🍫 dear friend. 🙂
Oh thank you Ka. A shall do that at once kind lady 🤣❤️🙏
🤣 🍫
I’m going to go off at a tangent. Possibly a rather “Hekatean” tangent.
Light and dark. It is complex, difficult imagery. And how we use it can mislead us.
Balance. Always balance. I wonder if the deficit of hope is our spirit telling us to rest. Not to disappear into the void, but to take the darkness for what it is – a place of rest, restoration, new beginning. But, it is not instant. Sometimes, we must walk the shadow, even though it is light that casts it. And that is as it should be.
Constant light, like constant day, will exhaust, after all.
So, do not fear to spend time on a lonely path at night. Even if the sky has clouds and the trees seem threatening. There is always a crossroads ahead, and each choice has its own dawn – but another night, too, in the distant foothills. But that darkness can be your friend and helper, if you do not fear it.
Beautiful poem! I believe Hope is always alive, even when we don’t see it or feel it. It’s there waiting for us in the darkness. I hope and pray you always have hope nearby and that it surrounds you with comfort.
It’s always so reassuring to read your words and know someone else is thinking along the same lines, but different too. We both recognize the importance of creating as a means out of darkness, but I hadn’t equated the act with hope as you have here. Excellent point! I love this post💜.
I always enjoy your writing.
Wow, thank you, Kel! 💖🌟
