Current Transits: Questions for you?

Hello there,

We are currently under the observation of the following transits. Though there are endless notable or discussable topics, my curiosity is about these:

Venus and Saturn are forming a conjunction within the same sign in Capricorn (quite close to Pluto!), and Uranus and Mars are paired up in different signs at 29 Aries for Uranus and 1 Taurus for Mars. Mercury and Neptune are coupled at 11 and 15 Pisces. These pairings could correlate with a number of manifestations, inner experiences, etc.

I’m opening up the floor for comments and curiosities, many of my readers and/or followers have already expressed interests in astrology, no matter how deeply or superficially.

Have you observed your life running along any of the themes “governed” by these transits?

* Venus/Saturn (in Capricorn)
* Uranus/Mars (end of Aries/beginning of Taurus)
* Mercury/Neptune (Pisces)

With Venus and Saturn we might be looking at values, resources, relationships (Venus) and experiencing longevity, limitation, consolidation (Saturn).

For Uranus and Mars we might be looking at spontaneity, unpredictability, surprises, technological innovations (Uranus) with assertiveness, intensity, passion, action (Mars)

For Mercury and Neptune we might be looking at thoughts, siblings, short distance trips (Mercury) with poetry, visions, art/film/photography, vision, confusion (Neptune).

  1. All three for me! I have Mercury Neptune conjunct natally so it has amped up my spiritual communication ( inner and outer) plus vulnerability in communication. Mars Uranus is just another day at the office in my life with wild and woolly oddities of all stripes in terms of electronics and curve balls. Venus Saturn in Cap does not stray far either from my natal placements with Venus in the 10th and Saturn in Cap. I see it as austerity with finances and social obstacles/limitations. I could go on but will stop here.

    Thanks for asking! Do you want to share a little about how they are operating ( or not) in your life?

    love and hugs,
    Linda

    1. Hi Linda!
      I loved your response 🙂 Thank you for that!
      Yes, having similar natal placements could be a response where it feels usual or even intensified, or maybe even more cognizant of these natal characteristics. It’s interesting that the amped up spiritual communication results in a sense of vulnerability. Is that the intangibility of it? Or is it just that communication is really harder to “pin down” with the Neptunian multi-dimensional trans-personal stuff? Some folks have more dreams, though I am not really a dreamer in general.

      Yes I can relate to anything Uranian – Mars there makes me more restless! Gotta get outside again. The Mars in Taurus is welcome to me though and tempering, and so I’m looking forward to the Uranus transit in Taurus. We had a taste of it before, and it “fills the holes” in my natal balance. I spend more time with progressions and my relocation when I am looking to really see what’s transpired since the natal.

      Thanks for sharing,
      Ka

  2. Hi Ka~
    Have felt a subtle difference since 2014, when the big ones began their transit through my chart in a previously entire blank side; my natal chart has clusters, all one sided, so here comes the balancing act, which tickles my natal Sun in Libra quite immensely.
    Definitely have a sense that where they’re transiting and especially with who has been bursting with activity more recently, so a surge and amplification in the new areas.
    With Uranus and Mars, for instance, a sudden intent inclination to get sweaty and moving in body, new ideas about how to do so (not ‘new’ just new for me, Mars energy feels so driven toward this that I’m more open to the ideas if that makes sense!), also cooking feels different, experimenting with creating in the kitchen seems to be a catalyst for dancing simultaneously . . .
    With Mercury and Neptune the quality of dreams have changed, sharper focus intuiting meaning from within them as it relates to myself personally rather than others (been a nightly dreamer since very young, with multiple dreams bearing message/s for others so am seeing a change in their nature), the two planets bounce off each other as far as dream stream and thoughts percolating go . . . the vastness of Neptune tempers the speed of Mercurial chatter into being graspable, and with the speed I’m able to filter and keep going rather than ‘sticking’ with thoughts that come up afterward as well as inside:catch and release the flotsams and jetsams, move into and out of dreamscapes fluidly, willfully almost, and with a different awareness, Mercury seems to catch some of the mystery and pass it over for filtering . . . last night two red cows nimbly climbed gates, one leg over the other, they were playing hooky beyond the field then returned most happy daisy eyed while several bighorned bulls looked on and a carload of cows moo’d, dream passage, minimal commotion yet much motion.
    Whether in body or mind or where have you, feeling more motion overall, and then there’s Venus and Saturn who are pretty excited about community right now, all exuberant beautiful long term visioning, actually moving toward ideas coming up from below, so there’s more of that movement that seems to be a common thread, with these two the motion manifests as motivation . . . I’m enjoying how they’re all transiting quite a lot . . . what they’re stirring up, pairs of big slower moving planets with smaller faster moving ones, is feeling juicy, lively, and interesting::as though I’ve entered a whole other realm of uncharted territory to engage with rather than witness, which is another flip flop wheeling round . . . curious to discover:: when it shifts back/returns to the other side, natal side, how that’ll have transformed by this, until then caught and released that thought, wholly immersed in now how these transits are running along thematically . . .
    My daughter just looked over and asked Are you writing a comment or an essay? Maybe I’ve been carried away by your questions, thank you for opening up the space to respond (my apologies if this is too long for a comment, I don’t often comment for this very reason! 😂)💛💫

    1. What a delightful comment, so full of body and texture and color! Yes, when your transits, especially trans-personal, and slow moving planets fill in the areas of your chart that were previously empty, you can notice big changes! Especially if the planets are conjoining natal planets and/crossing the important angles of your Ascendant/Descendant/Medium Coeli/IC. Journaling really helps with seeing differences over time! Yes you are in “uncharted territory” in some respects, and I’m so glad that you are enjoying the “feeling juicy, lovely, and interesting.” Your daughter is funny 😄. She’s a transit, herself! 😂, right?. Thank you for such a beautiful, thoughtful response! Many aloha to you! I am glad you are enjoying the Venus/Saturn as community right now! I’m glad also that Neptune is helping also to smooth the “Mercurial chatter.” I ended up having some dreams last night when I haven’t for a while, and they were telling. Oh, Mars can really get the ball rolling, too. I’m feeling that. Still can’t get over the cows 🐄 playing hooky in your dream! 😂 Enjoy cooking! Take care 💗 Ka 🌠

      1. Thank you for mentioning my daughter Ka, had an aha moment there prompting me to peek at their charts again. Of all five of our children, she and our son, the two eldest at 17 and 15, are having major shifts in transit ✈️ Balls rolling, yes!

  3. Oh dear, I just wrote a whole lot of information here then somehow the page closed and the browser too.. So I lost the lot..
    Maybe It was not meant to be said..
    Suffice to say i have been reading some interesting material that relates to Saturn and the return of the Golden Age. along with some ancient text and the Kalki Yuga and the Satya Yuga,

    I believe that there is a planetary cycle event right now which was prophesied in various texts and it is all connected to the way our own planet transcends in its own natural cycle to the next level.

    Too much for me to go into here Ka.. But we are going to be living through some interesting times for sure and the only way to really prepare is to prepare our inner selves .. I know you will understand this.

    We are to learn from the events that are now disintegrating and dissolving as new truths will shock those who live within this illusion. And as the veils thin, people will begin to perceive things not seen before.. I will put it like that..

    Sending you love and Peace my friend.. and wishing you a relaxing Sunday ❤
    Much love.. Sue ❤

    1. The Kali Yuga, I believe Sue, is something I heard about first from an Indian folklore English university teacher of mine, 17 years ago when I was still in undergrad and traveling the world on an ocean liner. I had already been studying astrology for about 6 or more years and only later dipped into more Vedic astrology, a branch of astrology that is Jyotish or the study of light, and is Indian in origin. Vedic astrology uses a sidereal zodiac and Nakshatras. The yugas refer to the great ages based on the precession of the equinoxes, based on the earth’s tilt on its axis.

      I wish you most wonderful Sunday, too, Sue and thank you for sharing your experiences. Whatever text you lost is sure to have been a good exercise for you, even if it didn’t “stick” here.

      Much love,
      Ka

      1. That is right Ka… the tilt, the Sun, Solar flares etc.. other planets cycles and orbits which come around every 25,000 years or so.. All there when we dig deeper..
        cycles of extremes, weather, social, and emotions..
        Sending love dear Ka.. 🙂 ❤

        1. Yes, I’m glad that you bring up the solar flares because that’s a dimension that I’ve been seeing since maybe 2012, and though there is some correlation, I don’t often feel it. I will say this, at some point in my studies and experiences on Earth, I realized that collective consciousness (because I had read some Jung books in high school) seemed to have even higher priority over whatever what “said” to be happening. In other words, the more that there was hype and interest in a phenomenon by the people in their words and news and interest, the more the phenomena became meaningful and charged with content and ups and downs. I figured that what we were learning to “reflect” indirectly through these considerations for our larger (and yes! Each planet has its own cycle and nodes!) what the universe (and universes) might be doing. In essence, though, we are all traveling through space on spaceship Earth 🌎 and not really in the same place twice 😉 so we can keep just witnessing everything as new, and create the meaning we *need* to get through the day. Always look within. Much love right back, Sue!

          1. It is simple really Ka.. We manifest outwardly what we create inwardly.. I like that about Earth never being in the same place.
            May we keep travelling, and learning, We chose to be here at this time, contributing and witnessing.. may we choose our thoughts and actions wisely..
            Much love returned ❤

          2. Sue, in Sanskrit, ‘Matrika shakti’, is the creative energy behind words (and their letters that make them up). I just felt like sharing that, because it came my way – and because, it was part of our conversation. Furthermore, I believe you would deeply enjoy the words here at this site, tying together Kali Yuga with Matrika Shakti and how elegantly described is the relationship between self-development and development of the whole… infinitely… plentifully, and freely…. https://www.matrika.co/en/matrika-shakti/
