melted dark chocolate
hand-drizzled on a candy cane
positioned on a graham cracker stick
for dream walking
hats off to the warm gingerbread baking in the oven
while we lick the frosting freshly made
messed about on our fingers, spreading icing
with song‘s flav
hearth lit 🔥 and cocoa steaming in the kettle.
hanging with that marshmallow snow outside
is the song 🎵 of the seasons lingering in the air from the records revolutions
adding to the momentum like floating clouds
the smell of pine needles and the early setting sun glowing up on the rafters
I will see the stars tonight, on this long night of 14 hrs.
butterscotch nightcap and the old Sprites
yen for more blackberry honey mead
one more toast to the night in radiant jubilation
for the
the gift of the sight,
its rising nature
the way the sun, love, air, heat, & ascension
are always lifting up.
chimes of the clock mark my optimism
for even at midnight both arms point high.
You’ve painted a lovely story with your words and photos. Thanks for the heartfelt reminders of simple holiday pleasures Ka. Happy Holidays! 🌟🎄💖
Happy to have you in community Brad!!! I hope you enjoy all the simple pleasures that matter to you most this holiday season! 🎁
Thank you Ka and you as well. 💖
Well written Ka, a celebration of love. Mind you, I’ve never seen a white, cold Christmas. The coolest it gets here is 35C 🤣 Maybe I can hire a cool room and try that 😂
Beautiful post dear lady, may it be so 😀❤️🙏🎄🎅
Thank you, Mark! Also I do not live in a cold region now but I used to! Maybe it’s easier for me to connect with inside my imagination because of that. Regardless, the picture I painted with words made my senses stir and I can even see the breathy fog on the windows 🪟 in my mind’s eye! It’s a gift to be able to travel with our minds 😃🧑🎄 Maybe Santa and his elves can get you a certificate to a “cold room” so those exist?? lol 😆 I’ve heard of ice plunge but not a cold room yet! ❄️. Remember you are as unique as a snowflake! ☃️ And if you feel called: go ahead and make a sand angel at the beach! 🏝️💗
Haha, I will do kind lady. Sand angels, snow castles and I even have multitudes of Santa’s in their dragon boats wildly paddling by out the front on the lake. The kids love them 😀 Your heart always comes through regardless the season Ka, it is gratefully received and the love returned in kind. Have a great Christmas my friend 😀❤️🙏🎄🎅
How cool! 😎 Santas 🎅🏽 on their dragon 🐉 boats!! Kids like me love that stuff 🥰 🎄🎄 Seems like you know how to celebrate 🌊❤️💚
You are welcome and Thank you!
