Stairs are in my dreams and in my reality.
“Go down and see what’s there.”
Me: “The steps, do you think they are even?”
“are any of us even?”
Me: “good point, I’ll try my luck on them.”
“What if you hop on every other one?”
Me: “what would be the point of that, I could fall?!”
“Isn’t it just fun to hop, sometimes, you know for no reason?”
Me: “Oh, good idea”
“BRB, I have to go attack a hawk with my murder. CAW. CAW.”
Me: “But, wait, you are my muse?
“CAW.”

Diana Wallace Peach, from Myths of the Mirror, made an interesting challenge for bloggers and artists this month to write a dialogue with one or more of their muses. I’m not really a writer, so this was me trying my best. My muses don’t usually strike up a conversation. But this one did come along for the challenge, er, nudge me down the steps. I wonder what will happen when I take the muse’s advice and hop down those steps, just for fun. Diana’s site is here.

Interesting. Sometimes my muse yells at me, but usually nudges or rolls her eyes.
I’d love to read your conversation with your muse if you do this challenge! That’s mainly why I posted, to get others on board.
Thanks, Ka. I’ll think about it. I can imagine the conversation would be different on different days. I know it would be fun.
A very interesting and original challenge to put your imagination to work.
Sometimes it turns out that he who does not risk does not win.
Good sunday to you

Thank you, Manuel Angel! You’ve gotten the message from the crow 😃
You are welcome
🙂
Clever muse and writing. Thanks for hopping along Ka! 🙂
Very interesting to read 🙂
Thanks so much for playing, Ka. I don’t think there’s anything odd about having a crow show up with advice. And advice to try something new and have fun can’t go wrong. (Just don’t trip – Lol). I have this all set up for a reblog!
Haha! I’ll try not to trip! Thanks Diana! What a great idea to have dialogues with muses. Never know who’s gonna show up!
I think that’s true. Mine are fairly consistent, but I never really know either. Thanks so much for joining in the fun. 🙂

Another visit from an animal muse, but this one has wings. Enjoy. 🙂
To be honest, hopping sounds like fun.
I don’t know about the advice to hop down the stairs. You muse may bear watching . . .
Hmm 🤔 lol 😂 maybe risky? The muse says “CAW n’t be bad…”
Very punny . . . 😉
I hope ‘steps’ here symbolize one step at a time – hopping is fun yet we move with one word to another to write. My poetic muse thinks like that. 🙂
Yes, I love these responses to my crow muse! This is a friendly muse, so one step or ‘word’ at a time is indeed fun, and a good interpretation. 🙂 Cheers to your poetic muse!
