New Moon in Cancer: Simply your nourishment

It’s no surprise that prognosticating astrologers say, and the word of the times (haha or on the streets of the internet), that things are complex and dramatic. To some extent that is true, with a lot of very interesting and provocative changes taking place in the transits above! However, I’d like to take that notion and give it a balancing point to simplify and return to the “easier street” of simplification. We can ask ourselves simple questions to get into the heart of this lunation, and get a little bit more cozy.

What truly nourishes you? Where do you feel supported and like you can belong and be yourself?

This lunation has a challenging square with Saturn in Aries and Venus is receiving a lot of personal narrative review with the S. Nodal position conjoining it. The common themes of Venus are topics related to finances, relationships, women, and comforts and balances. Venus rules both Libra and Taurus, so all your keywords and phrases in the languaging could be expanded upon by looking at those signs. However, Venus is also a very esoteric and magical planet, known for the pentagram it traces in its orbital path. There’s a real beauty to it. Fortunately the Mars/Uranus conjunction is separating in Gemini, so some of the intensity is evolving into new shapes and patterns.

Venus:

Cancer is a sign of mother and motherhood. The expression of unconditional love can come in the form of boundaries and clear limitations. Limitations can create the supportive space for the young life to grow unencumbered by destructive forces. One must take heed of one’s environment and fashion it to the best of one’s capacity to be a safe place in order for the soul to be nourished, and for the creativity to flow. Don’t be afraid to be clear about your boundaries and needs. The time has come for your greatest alignment with your soul’s path, and your own personal magick to unfold and flourish. Bring your light into this world, with gentleness, kindness, and the deep breath of faith and trust, that your heart is in the right place. You’ve worked hard for this. Saturn is here to support you. A challenging planetary aspect can be just the support you need to ground and arrange your space for your highest and best good.

  1. Well, my cancer wings do challenge me to fly with that love Ka 🤣 I just have to trust the path I’m currently on…but the bruised toes are something else 😂

Thank you for the share kind lady, may ‘your’ path have strong shoes 🤣❤️🙏

    1. Sending love! 🥰 Yes 🙌 🥾
Thank you for your kind comment; and, love and hugs to you! May we all navigate these times with some agility and peace, putting it all into perspective eventually, (HA!) and with a framework that makes the passage more manageable. 💕

    1. Ahh, Karen! That’s so beautiful! Thank you for sharing! 🦋 I have been deep into meditation, contemplation, and forming closer bonds in my sanghas, deepening my practices, and even reconnecting with a woman who was at a Gangaji retreat with me 10 years ago! I feel so blessed to have such a rich spiritual life and so many companions within it. You included!!! 💖💖💖

  2. The thing about challenging times is not to try to knock one’s head against a brick wall (figuratively, of course, but neither would I recommend it literally…!)

Worrying, staring into space of sleepless nights, achieves nothing except exhaustion.

Sometimes, then, concentrating on the simple things, the small things, is all we can do.

And it is the magic of small things that a butterfly’s wings may whip up one storm to quell another.

Anyhow, how are you doing, Ka?

    1. Hi Dear Simon,
I’m enjoying the visual of the butterflies wings and the innocence of all of that from quelling and inciting storms, and some of the absurdity of that.

I think challenges are helpful if we can use them as such, which is only up to us. Challenges help us wield our gifts and wend your way through life with courage. Thanks for your visit. I’m well enough. How are you?

      1. Challenges are there to be swept aside…!!! 😆

I’m fine. Second week of my second fortnight of leave; reducing working hours to 3 days a week; currently painting wood preserver onto the garden plant stands. It’s a busy life… need more tea…

        1. Aww Simon, it makes me happy to know you are in a good place with the plants and plant stands (taking care of stuff), drinking tea, and just getting more chances to “be.” 💖🦋✨ Glad to know and laugh with you, and to celebrate the Cancer New Moon. 🌑 ✨

Please drop me a petal from your beautiful self and let me know that you visited :)
