Full Moon in Sagittarius

Full Moon in Sagittarius.

Please click on the link above and read Gray Crawford’s take on Full Moon in Sagittarius. It’s the best I’ve seen right now. Absolutely spot on.

Great Jean-Michel Basquiat images, too. When I used to live in Pittsburgh I would visit the Andy Warhol museum and view their collaborative work.

What a fantastic post delivering the astrological themes at work/play at the moment.

  1. Thank you for sharing my writing, I deeply appreciate it. It is also very cool you have been to the Warhol museum in Pittsburgh- that is a place I would love to go. I have a lot of family from the Pittsburgh area in my “family tree,” but no one currently living there.
Blessings to you on this Full Moon,
    Gray

    1. Hi Gray,
You’re are so welcome! I lived in Pittsburgh for a decade, and it was my “second home.” Now, I’m living in my “third home,” in San Diego. Pittsburgh was/is a very special place to me – and always will be. So cool to know about your geographic family connections, thank you for sharing that, and an excellent astrological article with Basquiat art. I’m thinking of the movie now where David Bowie played Andy Warhol! I really enjoyed that film. Namaste Ka

      1. Well, I did get to go to Pittsburgh as a child because I had grandparents in far east Ohio on the river, and have vivid memories of dinosaur fossils in a museum. I am also on the west coast now like you, up in Olympia, Washington. That “Basquiat” movie made a huge impact on me when I saw it, in fact saw it twice in the theaters. Have you seen the documentary about him called “The Radiant Child?” It is extraordinary:

I’m glad you enjoyed the art I selected. Jean-Michel had a Mercury in Sagittarius, Pluto in Virgo conjunct the North Node of the Moon in Virgo, and South Node of the Moon in Pisces. There is not a known birth time I am aware of so do not know his actual chart. I thought about writing something about him in relation to this Full Moon but decided to keep it simpler. Thanks again for sharing my work!
        Best,
        Gray

      2. Hi Gray,
That’s interesting about Ohio; I haven’t been very far east in Ohio, but to Adam’s County archaeological site for Serpent’s Mound, http://arcofappalachia.org/visit/serpent-mound.html and back in undergrad college to see Elliott Smith in Columbus Ohio. Interesting that you mention fossils (at all) because I am picturing this fossilized coral that I found in Adam’s County Ohio, from when Ohio was under ocean water – I brought it with me across country, and is now sitting with my cactus!

How neat that you are also on the West Coast right now!

I think I first saw Basquiat, the movie, was when I was a teenager. Thanks for linking this documentary: The live footage that sat in a drawer for 20 years! (How am I not surprised…?)

You clearly made an excellent choice for picking Basquiat as your astrological poster child. Yes, it’s a thing, isn’t it, when we can’t get those accurate dates! But, we always have a way… 🙂

While contemplating the Langston Hughes poem,”Genius Child” that was at the beginning of the documentary film. I found this song, by someone I’ve never heard of… appreciating the mystery of discovery: Happy Sagittarius Full Moon 🙂 Grateful for this exchange. Ka

Please drop me a petal from your beautiful self and let me know that you visited :)
