Flocculonodular

Flocculonodular

There is without a doubt
a veritable area
that synthesized the first
moment of the cerebellum

I do know know what it is,
but the

Flocculonodular lobe

is relatively puny, says a textbook.

What poise and grace
for some who with
movements of refinement,
studied articulation, know
undulation

for more than a word.

What about
Prima materia?

  1. Hi-gher Ka Hi πŸ™‚

You hang your inner pearl so close to your heart, and your mind so close to the tip of reality that your words send a ripple of light as a wave of possibility to punch a hole in perception and flow on through to illume the silver-screen beyond. A needle of light, your painterly meditation brought balance and control to my soul and stillness to my mind. Thank you so much Ka

I listened to the call of a beautiful black raven this morning. Sat up high and backlit by the press of early morning light, he stared down at me and was quite direct in his gaze. And quite insistent I listen to his call. And so I did my best…trying to be mindful in the moment of my thoughts. I was thinking about an article I was given by a friend to read questioning the validity of an image hailed as either a UFO or a lens flare. The image portrayed a doughnut shape with a tube or flare trailing from it, or entering into it set in front of the clouds. It was fascinating, as to the discussion. Personally, the image reminded me of looking at an image of a hole punctured through a thin wall of organic tissue. You can imagine my curiosity when I arrived home late this evening and read your poem πŸ™‚ The synchronicities that occur on WP never cease to amaze me as we continue to share in the energy of each other’s thoughtful, reflective, and penetrative words. The interconnectedness of ideas is drawn together by the pulse of the mercurial beaded mind.

Thank you for your beautifully considered poem.

    Namaste

    1. Dear Dewin,

I missed your voice here. Thank you for showing up when the synchronicity and opportunity presented itself.
Your message is such a joy to read this morning, as I prepare my day. It’s a conscious pause to read your well-chosen words,
and to picture your world as I so much appreciate your including it here. Thank you for sharing with me this image of the mixture of otherworldly and mundane.
There’s the UFO/lens flare, the biological tissue. There’s the familiar shape of an erythrocyte, with the nuclei missing to carry the hemoglobin. Maybe the UFO is made of biological tissue? Your words about my poetry give me much inspiration, you know πŸ™‚ I also very much enjoy your art on your blog.

      Namaste
      Ka

  2. It maybe pretty puny but such a little thing plays such an important role .. A little like us, we each think our own role in the scheme of things is none-effective.. Yet we each hold an important function for the WHOLE πŸ˜‰

Loved your little poem .. And Loved Dewin’s reply also :-D..
I hope your day is flowing beautifully πŸ™‚
    Love and Hugs

    1. Hi Sue,
It’s true so true what you write here, isn’t it? That we believe our impact is small and ineffectual, and yet… do we even really know? So, we allow… and we see that we are not alone in feeling that way. Each day seems to have its own magic. There’s that pleasant surprise around every breath.
      Thank you, Sue
      xoxo Ka
